The evo has a little less output but in my opinion better tone.

Hey, hmm...  I used to have an Evolution on my Tele (I know...  Tele with an Evolution, weird).  It was really nice.  It has lots of mids and awesome power.  The notes are all clear.  It doesn't hide anytihng!  So if you're dirty it's gonna show...  But it's such an amazing pick-up but really reallly powerful!  Bastos siya talaga!  I'm using a Tone Zone right now on my Ibanez SAS36FM.  It's a perfect match cause the guitar is really bright so the pick up compensates its brightness.  It gives a warm and fatter tone yet at the same time the punch that you need.  The Evolution has more output but the Tone Zone is warmer but also has high output.  Maybe you should check out what sound your guitar needs.  Merry Christmas!

Siguro not the right pick up for the guitar.  Pero it's up to you.  Sana sir makita niyo na yung hanap niyong tunog.

I like the Evolution p-ups. I have the neck and bridge in my S520. The word "aggressive" comes to mind when I think of the Evos. The Breed p-up are nice too, I have them one of my S540LTD. Not as aggressive as the Evo but a little fatter sounding. The Tone-Zone, I've only heard them in an RG3120 (mahogany body) where I thought it was just too bassy. I did not like them.

In my opinion, The Evolution line (Evo and Evo2) is a shredders pickup.

It has extreme clarity and really brings out individual notes and all.
If you play like crap, it will sound like crap. Even if you have enough gain to power through a brick wall.

The Tone Zone on the other hand is a Soloists pickup, great for slurry passages, creamy smooth solos, and arpeggios. Taps come out nice a round, it adds body to the tone.
Not too good for riffsters since it tends to get muddy in mahogany and darker tonewoods. (In my experience, sounds like a bright neck pup in the bridge position in a BASSWOOD ibby)

It all boils down to this:

Evo=Shredders pickup, Great for note clarity.
ToneZone=Soloists pickup, Great for fattening up lead lines.
Get Wylde.

The S520 I have the Evos in has a mahogany body so I'll have to say yes, maganda for mahogany bodies.

Nope, not at all. The alder body brings out the tone of the ToneZone quite well.

Try it with a 1Mega-ohm volume pot.

imo i like the PAF PRO the best... it's warm and full(well rounded sound) good for riffing... but it still has this punchy high sounds good for soloing...

I'll go for ToneZone mas punchy and easily cut through the mix
and madali mag distort ng amp. best if you play in the high gain territory

So meaning hindi ka makahanap ng nice clean dito which i sometimes miss.

Nope, the ToneZone cleans up quite well.

Its not that high up on the high-output list yet.

The cleans are very fat and never shrill.

Really naks I'll try installing it again.

Kuz I compared it with a pearly gates and Air Norton bridge. Parang mas clean sila eh compared sa TZ

Pero I'll try it re-wired
