i'm a beginner (again). after doing three-chord punk riffs about nineteen years ago, it was just about two months ago that i went back to listening to muddy waters and buddy guy. siyempre "led zep kind o' blues" rin.

Definitely. I remember joining this one band and straight off, the band-leader wanted me to learn to play Whipping Post. Holy crap, I had to count like crazy for the rhythm--but man, it was so satisfying to know how to play it for a live audience.

And speaking of which, here's a video I found of Zappa doing a cover of the song. Check out Steve Vai and Chad Wackerman as well. Intense!
