Yes!  Thank you bro.  Hirap din ako na humanap ng inductor na identical to the one used in this application.  Baka gumawa na lang ako.  Tingin mo kayang umabot up to 660mH using toroidal ring as inductor?

meron ako stash ng halo inductor (both P14 and P18), pero di pa naka-wind (core, bobbin and holder). ikaw pa magwind at wala rin ako ng magnet wire. i'll let go of it if the price is right. PM mo ako if you are interested.

Wow!  I'll let you know.  Gusto ko din ma-try kung mas tahimik kung gagamit ng toroidal cores sa inductors.  And what would be the effect of having that.  Nice one bro!  talagang equiped ah.  PM mo sa'kin price mo please.
Parang maganda yan, Roll your own...

Sammy boy eto na yung schematic ng True Bypass with 2 LED indicator using DPDT.
Post na lang kayo if you find something:
  • To develop pa.
  • Or to debug.

Confuse lang ako sa SEND & RETURN kaya LOOP OUTPUT & LOOP INPUT ang nilagay ko.  It works perfectly naman sa'kin.  Yung FX-loop na ginamit ko is Distortion & Flanger.

not sure if you can call it 'TRUE' bypass. palaging nakakabit yung output ng fx (fx loop output) mo sa output mo eh.

sir emil, mukang semi true bypass cya na may dual led indicators, ( kasi pag nag bypass mode ka nakakabit parin directly yung output ng loop at yung direct signal ).  pede kaya natin yan lagyan ng summing network sa ouput stage o kaya simpleng voltage deviding network para maiwasan yung bleed at sucking. ano sa palagay mo sir BAMF? e kung lagyan natin ng similar booster circuit mo BAMF para macompensate yung losss, naka Y lang yung ouput stage e without any buffering or summing network... recipe for tone sucking yan (stock CBG95 switching yata yan if we took out the leds). tara i develop natin tong Emillinium Bypass ni emil.

Any suggestions?  Kaya mo ba i-debug bro.  Give us a hint para may matutunan naman tayo.  Tnx. :-)

eto brod my take on your idea, yung dalawang 100k resistors acts like a simple summing network hopefuly minimise the bleed and sucking, tapos yung BAMF booster dun sa output kasi medyo hihina yun e after nung summing para macompensate. tapos optinal na 1megs na resitors parallel sa lahat nung input and output jacks para stable ang impedance in between switchings... to avoid spike pops (diko na nilagayl sa scheme mo) sa palagay nyo?

i prototype nyo lang mga brod tapos bigay nyo feedback, lako time ngayon mag kalikot e.

Nice bro!  Yan ang pro-active.

Ano mga brohams siret na ba?

HINT 1: it can be improved into 3 indicator LED.

Yan! I like that name! I think tama ang iniisip ni e-bong. In bypass mode, the guitar sees the output impedance of the device in the loop, as well as the input impedance of the device in the output. So there could be some signal losses. Pagisipan natin yan. In the meantime, I am going to bed hating-gabi na papasok pa bukas.

yung dpdt na yan with led indicator, pwede rin ba gamitin sa mga stomps (since mas mura sya kesa 3pdt)?

pag na perfect na yung design pwedeng pwede,, tatangalin mo lang yung jacks i rekta mo na sa in out nung loop, tapos i always on mo na yung switch ng fx kung fet style yun. ganun lang.

di parin yata 'true' bypass yan. try ko mag-isip pero madami ng sumubok nyang DPDT, even sa international DIY forums. i wont expect too much though.

Hindi nga kaya nga ni rename ng Emillinium Bypass e the suggested modification is supposed to compensate for the loss kasi nga hindi siya true bypass

Sige na nga.

HINT 2:  It will become a true bypass with 3 LED indicator.  Provided the 2 LED will lit if there's an Fx or two attached to the 1st loop or to the 2nd loop.

come on guys you can do it.  Solve it.  Go go go!

Here's mine. A fuzz based on the fuzz face circuit using 2n2222 transistors. Ugly, but it has some uses.  8-)

This is my first build ever.

What I've been working on this afternoon. True bypass 2 loop system and switch for my amp's gain channel and tremolo. Hope to finish it by tomorrow.
