Can anyone help me pick a good beginner's guitar? I used to play (though I'm not really good at it hehe) but it has been more than 10 years since I last held a guitar. I'm interested in learning again but I don't know which guitar to get. Do you guys have any suggestion?

really depends on what type of music you want to play. Acoustic or electric. Not knowing anything else, and assuming its for a lower budget, Phoebus PG-30 for acoustic, or a Les Paul type electric guitar.

I was thinking of getting an acoustic guitar. My budget is around 5k, give or take.. I am kinda hesitant kasi to spend a lot cause I might end up not using it as much. hehe.

Hi ako din po newbie I know a little of the basics and Im planning to continue. Natuto ako thru self help and my first acoustic guitar was from Lyric that costed around less than 1k nawalan ako ng gana kasi after a few months ambilis na nyang mawala sa tono

basically eto yung naiisip ko

1. Acoustic guitar
2. Low Budget 3-4k max
3. Brand new (sana)

Tips for the following:

Lumanog? Where to buy yung may quality naman more or less close to what was known as a good quality local made guitar. Magkano price range ng ganun?

Worth it ba to try and experiment on the Quiapo / Raon variants? if so may mga original ba sila dun? saang shop and price range?

Sa mababa ang budget madaming nagrerecommend ng phoebus guitars though hindi ko pa na try

Mababa ang 3-4k budget better magipon ka pa ng konti. Wala akong nababalitaan na magandang lumanog ngayon.

dagdag ka PHP 500 para may Phoebus PG20 ka na. wala na akng magandang feedback na nakukuha sa mga raon/sta. mesa guitars. stay away from those kasi  mangyayari sa guitars na yung nangyari sa lyric guitar mo.

yup, Phoebus guitars fit the bill! Check it out, swak sa budget mo. If you happen to get the PG20 cutaway model with electronics tapos pinagsawaan mo, PM mo ako  :lol:
