following my ym conversation with brotha anthony, i'd like to suggest this venue called
7th Note.
It's in makati, if you know Makati Golf, dun yun. sa street ng old Toyota Belair (it used to be in Buedia before near Yupangco). I don't know the owner but the last time I was there I had a chance to watch some friends' gigs and I would really say the place is excellent, cozy, clean, di jologs, food is fine and reasonably priced (dencios quality, even cleaner pa nga eh), polite and respectful waiting staff, they serve sanmig chilled, big area for live acts, can accommodate more or less around 3-4 kits comfortably. it's bigger than penguin bar, about the same size as 6ug or even more. room acoustics are well studied and constructed, ceilings are around 12-15ft high...oh best of all big, secured, concrete paved parking area for around 100cars i think. well what can i say, i dig the place. i usually go there during the day for the range, madami korean and japanese chicks. hmmm sounds expensive?--i really dont know, u might want to check this out, but they only charge 50pesos for entrance to gigs.
again im not acquainted with the owner nor do i own the place or have anything to do with it, so dont go thinking i'm endorsing a business for my personal gain. i simply liked the place and i think u might too so its worth giving it a look for the grand eb. if they'll charge crazy, lets look elsewhere okeedoks.
