simultaneous vocal lay in & multi headphones DI box setup

eto po sa tingin ko kelangan ko...yung parang DI box ng headphones(meron ba nun?) na kasya mga 5 inputs...tapos syempre kabit nito sa mixer...with amp cgro...tpos kahit low budget na headphones

tanung po?tama ba po ung process?meron bang ganun(DI o anu ba tawag dun) tapos anu po maganda brand at san makakabili..salamat po.gbu

my problem with very cheap headphones is ung foam surrounds nila often do not fit tightly enough to prevent headphone bleed when recording. I was playing with the idea of using cheap earbud phones for monitoring, esp. the ones that come foam inserts that fit the ear canal (not the M-Audio IE-20/30/40, medyo may kamahalan).

sir kitC..nakita ko na ung samson S-AMP 4 CH sa audiophile... P 2,590.00 ang presyo...di ko na test pero medyo ok na...may nagalok nga sa akin sa kabilang branch ung CQ-08 4 ch din kaso parang may built in mini console...sabi ko mahal to.. 6k... pwede na siguro ung s-amp...pero mukang ung behringer mas mura e kaya tignan ko to sa electronics depot if ever this week...

naku sir kitC talagang pagdating sa headphones...ung mura talaga...palagay ko pang multimedia lang talaga(ung tig 150p sa CD-r king) ala talaga budget e...ung in-ear nga din isip ko...kaso last 2 months nagcacanvass ako ng in ear(not flat FX) ala akong nakikitang mura e...kung ung mga sobrang mura ang bbilhin ko masmukang matibay pa ung mga closed phones...ayun kaya isip din ako..pero nung canvass ko naman na un, iba ang purpose...try ko din canvass iba...sir, ayus din ang in-ear noh? lalo na pagsa monitoring ng singers...kasi less likely na magkaLEAK sa M-1 kapag sinasabayan nila ON RECORD?(kapag pinaguusapan ang mga cheap lang na phones Closed VS in-ear)or other way around...kelangan ko na bumili this week ng phones...

The shorter the signal path from mic to soundcard, the better. I can see why you need to route from one mixer to another before going into the soundcard, it only increases circuit noise down the line. di ko makita kung paanong gagamitin na 'DI box' ang 1204 since it has only 1 headphone out plus, you cannot mult several headphones from one headphone output. The resulting gain will be very low (divided power between headphones) plus you can put undue stress on the headphone output circuitry of the mixer. you really need the distribution capabilities of a headphone amp.

The signal path should be: mic - preamp/mixer - compressor (optional) - soundcard - monitor matrix. if your soundcard has several outputs and does hardware monitoring, you can route one pair to the monitors with another pair to your headphone amp. You can even route your soundcard output back into your mixer if your soundcard does not do hardware monitoring; just make sure you can route the soundcard out to an aux bus so you can mix in the vocals. connect the headphone amp to the aux output.

Phase cancellation occurs when two signals of the same frequency are out of phase with each other resulting in either a boost or cut in the overall level of the combined signal.
