what do you mean kulang sa bends?
maybe nahihirapan ka pa sa gauge ng strings mo...suggest ko try mo muna sa lighter gauges like .9s or .10s...then pag sanay na...try to move to heavier ones para lumalaban na yung strings (para mas may angst, resulting to more...blues...hehehe)

plaktis mo rin vibrato...listen to BB king and hendrix for that

OT: anybody has tips for adding vibrato to bended notes? minsan kasi parang naririnig ko sya sa mga recordings...minsan parang nagagawa ko pero chambahan and only on certain frets/strings...ala lang.

i dunno kung applicable ung sa kin but i just anchor mg L thumb, like fretting it sa fret then doing those slurs..i keep on watching how bb, and still learning on it how he does his sig thingie..i aint aiming on getting the same but at least, magaya ko kahit kapiraso lang..heeheh!

Pakinggan mo and deep south and delta blues, like robert johnson, son house, bukka white. yun ang naging inspiration ng mga 60's british band ng narevive ang blues nung mid 60's.
