aaaah...the original plan was to launch a fashion line to be called "PURO BLANCO".... featuring all white t-shirts (and a complimentary line of identical designs in black) and referencing blanco's new monicker. i guess neither brand name really didn't fly in the focus groups and the fashion line was subsequently launched to our surprise as "DESIGNS BY RICO BLANCO."

mr. rono and i were deliberately watching from the sidelines as all of this was unfolding, mind you, sometime in march.

neither of us was really crazy about the idea but well, fashion design was something mr. blanco had wanted to do for a very long time...

("puro blanco" and the all-white theme were dreamed up by the human thinktank working with mr. blanco.) before we could do anything (either way) about it, we were handed a letter of resignation from mr. blanco and the rest, as they say, is (fashion) history.

we all know the curse of Rivermaya.. (or maybe its just a wannabe curse)
pero i do force and support that the 3 become a trio like the nathan rico and mark era

sa interview around nov daw ang new album. sana walang guesting or anything.
I'd like to hear and see what the 3 can do without blanco..
that can be compared to FREE.
And maybe a possible album of the year too.

WHAT IF... parang yung DVD na pirated where the old members of The Doors had a get together featuring front men from different bands (Ian Astbury from The Cult, Perry Farrell, etc) tapos isa syang TV special, album, DVD release atc. I think magandang next move yan to get support from other artist, to reinforce the music, and generally to dispel the bad vibes, what you think mark? or mam liza? lets see, Raimund Marasigan, Ely, Kitchie, Chito, etc it would be fun. tapos me tour.
