I love my Danelectro pedals. I think they are underrated. I use the Dan Echo & Wasabi Distortion in my most basic pedals set-up. I also have the Fab Metal na mukhang laruan.

parang first encounter of the third kind pala yang itchura ng dan electro... pero cool... ano mas ok dan electro or boston??? hehe

My chorus pedal is a Danelectro Cool Cat. Much better than the CH-1 IMO.

how would you describe the sound of the cool cat? i've read a lot of reviews about it but i can't seem to find sound clips (broken yung link sa Musician's friend!). i'm still contemplating on getting either the cool cat or the ibanez cs9

pwede ba yung delay ng danelectro? kung small delay lang ang gamit, pa-epek lang?

The cool cat is a very nice sounding pedal, the only reason i don't like to get it because it uses 18volts, meaning two 9 volt batteries. The coolcat eats batteries like crazy, so definitely you ought to get an 18 volt adaptor, I'm not sure if one is included.

buti na lang yung brick may 18v! yahoo!  :-D

Well there you go! :-D

The latest version of the Cool Cat uses  9 volts. They have discontinued the 18volt models. In fact the one I got uses 9 volts. As for how it sounds, to my ears it sounds really good. It is versatile, not as clinical sounding as the CH1 and very quiet. You can dial in most of the 80's chorus sounds. For what I use chorus pedals for, this works for me.

One more thing, speaking of Danelectro pedals, I just got the Corned Beef Reverb. Pretty cool and cheap pedal. If you just want to add a little reverb to your clean sound, it does the job. I use it in combination with the Epi Valve Jr.

I am seeking for the the best tube overdrive lately  and my budget is upto 2,xxx only, considering the under-rated fx out there I tried this
"FAB Overdrive" yesterday and IT SOUNDED BAD in my opinion
why?

1. There is a noise emitting from the stompbox even at low level..like a 60hz buzz but on a higher freq...like a hiss
2. Tone knob is not so versatile/ not so dynamic
3. Drive type is like a tube screamer but a little thin sounding

well i didn't buy it

Don't forget the DJ5 Tuna Melt Tremolo - better sounding than the Boss TR-2. I just wish the Rate and Depth Knobs would go just a little bit further.

Cheers!

Wow really? they got the 9 volt version now? Still the same price of around $30?

Don't know about the $30.00 tho. Used maybe. I've seen a few used ones around here.

Parang mahirap Patunogin yun reel echo mejo komplikado,na test ko na sa Lyric. mga 6 or 7kplus ata yun. pero astig sya kasi matagal ang delay time pero isang beses lang mag repeat. my friend Dan gil uses it on gigs for his Old roland synth for chili tees.
