Just finished restringing and cleaning the R7, might as well take a group shot ang get it acquainted with my recently acquired KH2. The PGM is my main guitar currently but mukhang mapapalitan ng KH2. :-)

Here's my version of KSP - Kirk Slash Paul..hehe..corny.. :-D

Current Main Rig:
Amp and cab: Mesa Boogie Road King II & 4x12 Stiletto Traditional Slant Cab (which is just a renamed Traditional Slant Rectifier Cab...)


Pedalboard: O.K., so its not exactly an efx pedalboard... I haven't been using any efx, other than the amp's reverb, since I started using the RKII. I did use it with the my rack for a while, that was really nice...



The guitars:

The Twins: Ibanez S540LTD ('93 and '96); all Dimarzio p-ups: one has a Steve's Special (bridge), VirtuAL (middle), Air Norton (neck); the other one has Breeds (bridge & neck), VirtuAL (middle)


The Old-School Axe: An '80s Kramer Focus 3000. This was made back when EVH endorsed Kramer, and Kramer still made Kramer. Not to be confused with the current production (MusicYo.com?) bearing the same name. This guitar originally had the H-S-S configuration. I took a router and turned it into an H-S-H, did some fancy wiring with a 4p5t switch from allparts.com, p-ups are: Seymour Duncan JB (bridge), salvaged single coil from one of the Ibanez-ses, Dimarzio Air Norton (neck).


The re-finishing project: Ibanez S520; Dimarzio Evolution p-ups (neck & bridge); custom paint job by me (Chameleon paint, changes from green to purple, depending on the viewing angle)





The Basses: Ibanez SR3005 (Prestige), original owner swapped out the stock hardware (except the bridge) for gold hardware; Yamaha RBX765, doesn't get played as much as the SR



The bass rig: Eden WT600 bass amp, manufactured by Eden, back when Eden was still its own independent company; EBS (http://www.ebs.bass.se/) 2X10 bass cabs, I love these cabs. I auditioned EBS, Aguilar, EA, AshDown, GK, Ampeg and SWR cabs... I walked away with the EBS... well, after paying for it of course...



This was the power amp that I used with my rack: Tube Works/B.K. Butler MosValve (mosfet amplifier), despite the name, there are no tubes in this amp whatsoever, still sounds nice though...


Discontinued Mesa 1X12 floor-wedge guitar cabs:


The test rig: Modded (by me) Carvin X100-B amp, my first tube amp, bought in the early '90s. The cab beneath it is one of the pair of Carvin 2X12 cabs. This is the rig I use when I am testing pedals that I build, or mod

Hey thanks... I don't know what the reviews say but I am really digging the RKII. Channel 1 goes from Pristine Clean to Edgy Breakup ala Tweed (although not as lively or brilliant as the Triaxis cleans); Channel 2 goes from Fat Cleans to Pushed Crunch tones, think AC/DC; Channel 3 Goes from the Crunch tones to Modern High Gain, I like the Vintage setting on Channel 3 for the majority of the stuff I play, it is a bit tighter and can get meaner than the Triaxis' LD2 Yellow but can be sweet enough for certain lead lines; Channel 4 overlaps a bit of Channel 3s Vintage setting but with a bit more lows and presence; both Channel 3 and 4 have Modern settings but but because of Channel 4s  extended bass and treble regions, it gets more aggressive - you can set it to where its like "I'm gonna rip your face off with razor blades and whack you in the chest with a 24oz sledge hammer." you get the idea.

And you are correct, I am not in Manila...
