tnx man!

oist di cheapo un viper 50 ah hehe, natry ko na ung kay russel and its good. i think its better than a epi sg, bolt on yan ryt? load it with emgs or active pups na rin, then 18volt mod para mas mabangis. but i would love it if it had some flag inlays tho, me a sucker for inlay kasi lol!!!

Haha thanks!

yup, it is bolt on. I haven't tried playing an epi sg though so I can't attest to it.  :-D

I'm thinking of going for the flag inlays. I'm just putting some thought into it haha!

As far as the emg's are concerned, I believe that won't be possible as of the moment. I'm on a tight budget right know so I am going for them guitarheads hex.

You're lucky you're in the States Bryan. I've been gassing for a Jackson Dominion for over a year now, the gas just got worse when I saw the white KE5FR with the black binding. :x Caparisons? That's a different story...too expensive but definitely, when I start earning big bucks, I'll get a Dellinger. :-D

the dominion is really unique in the jackson line, btw i played a COW-7 while getting my washburn, i wish it had two pickups though..i would like a caparison too, probably a dellinger or apple horn(IA fan)

I just wish they'd come out with the new Dominions already, the black with white binding and gold hardware is to die for. I think they put the DiMarzio Breeds on those already or is it just for Mark's custom?

Mine's nothing special and not pricey.

Just a Dean Vendetta XM. I love that guitar.

The headstock is not as ridiculous as the pricey ones like the Flying V and the Explorer. I hate the headstock design.

i really havent check on those yet..but if its the real sig model yeah it would be dimarzio, if its a budget level then jackson pickups, i also like the phil collen model, i have held and tested that one, you'd cry if you dinged it lol

i was going to get this but my bro got me the mlxm which ok, both were paulownia body, called 'phoenix tree' by my chinese sources, its a good tonewood, its really underrated..its cheap and grows quick, i've seen this wood used in chinese Deans, Fernandes...

i'd probably set up a project for maple top + paulownia body guitar probably a ML or V

I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to wood. But I think that this guitar of mine sounds good. Even though it weighs like a paper. I want to collect these kinds of guitars. I'm planning on buying another one and put a racing stripe just on the side of the bridge.

What pickups do you recommend that I should get? Would Seymour Duncan JB provide a good sound?

Thanks. :)

that is paulownia for you its light and good sounding, its not grainy that much, basswood is another light wood

they have a 7string XM, the XM series are all paulownia, you got the MLXM, VendettaXM, EvoXM, some fernandes MIC are paulownia too Dragonfly and a revolver looking one is paulownia

i mean your taste in sound would be different from mine, you could try a duncan on your first one and an affordable after market on your next paulownia bodied guitar purchase, that's how i test pickups
