TONY MACALPINE galing din na guitarist,listen to CAB , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAB_(band) , jazz fusion , mejo matagal ko na narinig (5 or 6 years ago pa) bunny brunnel, dennis chambers, tony mac yata yun unang line up nila, CAB and CAB 4 ata ung narinig kong album....solo work ni tony mac, mejo old skool pero ok parin

I am not a real fan kumabaga, pero nung nakita ko yung live concert vid nila sa isang resto na impressed ako. hehe

Haha. I dont think he's underrated at all. Steve Lukather is a well known and highly regarded musician.

I don't think these guys are underrated esp nung Grunge era. Si Jerry Cantrell nga andami ng na-receive ng awards at tributes like yung Riff Lord (beating Black Sabbath, Metallica) tas na-earn niya respect ni Van Halen dati

para sa akin - Dave Navarro!!! RHCP's One Hot Minute was a good album

another one - Vini Reilly of The Durutti Column!!! If in the earlier albums of the RHCP, they were aiming for the Hendrix sound...sa Californication era, eto kinokopya Frusciante---yung minimalist lines/structures ni Vini Reilly

Mas Underrated ata si Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots. Di pa yata siya nabanggit sa thread na to. Even his bro, Robert DeLeo is very good. Listen to old STP songs like "And So I Know" and "Hello, It's Late" aside from the other big hits that they have made. Eversince, his sound and skills has been the backbone of STP's music but he's not that much regarded as a guitar great.

^^one of his best guitar work for me is from the STP song "A Piece of Cake". One of the heaviest songs ever. Not to mention the solo was killer too!
