sa tingin ko yung term na rock n roll, old school version at tsaka pinahabang term lang ng rock. siguro sineperate nalang yung rock n roll sa rock dahil dumami na yung mga genres ng rock. ex. punk rock, glam rock, pop rock.

I remember reading somewhere that Rock and Roll was a euphemism for sex (ROCKing from side to side, ROLLing in the bed), hence the link between sex and rock music. As for the difference between rock and rock and roll...heck, I think it's used to describe the same thing, except that the term "Rock" is a truncation of the original term.

Ito na yung naging Rock.

rock n roll panahon dati yun ni elvis, beach boys, chuckberry etc.
ngayon meron pa din rock n roll band gaya ng rolling stones mag retire na yata
pero ngayon "rock" ang daming category saka mas malalim ang mga kanta dito .
