How can it mean anything to me if I really don't feel anything at all?  :-)

yung clay stop-motion animation ata ang tawag dun, e.g yung video ng sober. etong video ng vicarious reminds me of the videos of parabola and schism. parang pinaghalo.

mejo out of topic..pero share ko lang..yang LSD na yan once formulated by scientist to be one of the ingredients to a higher conciousness, but to some people it may incur a different effect.hehe...toolacious pa!..and IMO..one of the best technical drummer out there is Daney Carey...\m/ god!

That's why he's one of my influences. Weird for a guitarist eh?

a certain shade of them brains are highly sensitive to little motions happening around..too much calibrated on how they approach and look at things..weird in a sense but some people are just born with this kind of vision and just waiting for some medium to release the tension then..haha..

sino marunong mag drums diyan ng tool?

:-D i play a handful of tool songs din on the guitar, as they are very enjoyable to play, like eulogy and schism.

playing in odd-time signatures at first, really messes with your brain, but you'll get used to it.  :-D

You'd have a hard time tracking drummers who play Tool's stuff bro.
I haven't heard anyone who can play their songs completely & flawlessly.

+1.

In fact, mahirap talaga maghanap ng drummer na Tool ang tugtugan. Matagal nako naghahanap.. But to my dismay, wala talaga.

Kaya ngayon, puros BT muna ako, hehehe.

Dami pala Tool fans dito! Nice!

well again, out of the topic may seem, but there are drummers from the jazz and metal genre who can still be able to grasp the theories being used on how danny carey approaches his style.well if your talking about rarity of this drummers, then it must be like finding a needle in a hay stack.haha..i cant even find myself one to create my forgotten masterpiece..haha

kadalasan kasi ung mga drummer na kaya tumugtog ng tool e would rather play other genres like fusion or jazz etc.. take note hindi ko nilalahat meron pa ren xempre lumalagare ng mga tool..

sigh... the only three songs i can completely play note per note in the drums are parabola, sober and opiate... since these three for me are the most drummer friendly compared to the rest, parang ayaw mag pakapa ni danny carrey e haha

Oh yeah! That part, one of the hardest ever. I love watching Danny pull that off everytime @ youtube. Takes so much focus.

Yeah, their albums are pretty rare.
I did see 3 of their original albums before @ Odyssey somewhere in Alabang though. Too bad I don't have funds back then. We're lucky enough to have family members & close friends who bought us original copies of Lateralus & 10,000 days though. The album packaging's really unique & creative. I'm not gonna sell those ever haha!

I regret not buying the Lateralus album when it came out in Tower Records back in 2001. As in there was one rack full of it.   :?
