kung meron ka na ng partition magic:

1. know the total size of your harddrive
2. know the number of partitions you want in that harddrive and how much space you wanted in each partition(mine has 3 partitions in it)
3. if youre using norton partition magic, madali ang navigation - just click create a new partition then the wizard will help you...may konting math lang para sa estimate(addition/subtraction)

so for example, meron akong 250gb hdd space...i need 60gb for my windows/program files tapos 95gb sa games tapos 95gb sa multimedia files(images, videos, music etc)

kung windows xp ang gamit mo, make sure youre formatting the partitions to NTFS...FAT32 is for lower versions, i think...

I would recommend the Ubuntu live CD. Google it.

It's an OS which can also edit partitions with a graphical interface.

If you need more info, just PM me.

I've been a long-time Partition Magic user kahit nung pre-Symantec buyout era pa (Powerquest). It does what it's supposed to do. Very simple and efficient ang program na yan.

Ang gamit ko currently is the free software sa hard disk drive ko (Seagate DiscWizard).

i had issue with partition magic before, after resizing the disc partitions that i have, when it ask to restart, it crashed my system and couldn't find the primary partition where my boot files are. so, i had to reformat and reinstall my programs again.

fdisk pa din ako. i set my partition to size where i will never resize. like 30%system, 65% data, and 5% swap
