i'm pretty sure that JB can help you sort this one out as soon as their pearl spares come in. they probably have em already so go check em out.

help to my china/generic 2pedz, screw lost thread
« Reply #11 on: May 08, 2008, 03:08:32 PM »
kasi nag lost thread yung sa right beater e, di ko mahigpitan, kaya di ko magamit yung right beater. kelangan ko pa lagyan ng sandamukal na papel para maipit.

though, kaliwang paa ginagamit ko pag practice, i still need the right pedal, kanan ako e,

may pwede pa bang gawin para maayos yung thread at hindi na lagyan ng papers?

tnx

dalhin mo sa machine shop. iooversize nila yun. kaso gagamit ka na ng ibang screw.

Does anyone know where you can buy/get screws for locking the beater of your pedals other than having it manually crafted in hardware shops or buying a new pedal just for the screw? I checked JB and the closest they can give you are tension rods which won't work even if you cut it shorter. Thanks!

dont use WD40 to lubricate your pedals

get lithium grease from ace. highly recommended to ng DW.

im a strong believer in wd40 but i also noticed the squeaks come back after a week of using my pedals (15 minutes per day lang). nageevaporate kasi yung wd40 kaya wala kang choice kundi sprayan ulit

+10000!

Panglinis ko lang talaga 'to kung may kalawang pero hindi pang lubricate.

check lagi yung screws ng pedal kung mahigpit bago gamitin, loose screws = loose thread...
