A group of highschool friends decided to form a band way back 2001. Through a handful of line-up changes, a name change, acquisition of a group of solid supporters and truly defining what the music is all about; SUBSCAPULAR was formed.
December of 2004 marked the start of the SUBSCAPULAR that we have come to know (or atleast WE know) and this includes:
Sam Saludsong doing the Percussions, his Brother Elias playing the bass, Randy Gatbonton taking guitars down pat and Rod Tolentino singing and strumming.
2005 saw the band finally taking things to the next level. With a line-up that focused on nothing less than creating excellent music, they knew that things would eventually take a different direction from what they’ve grown accustomed to. It was in this year that they came out with their first recording attempt with a four-track e.p. called "Testing the Daylight."
Forward to 2006, the route has been determined and the SUBSCAP boys’ focus has never been this strong (and that’s sayin alot!). Support has been overwhelming, and people have shown interest. And they plan to give them something in return. More Music! And just have fun.
