car audio fx
« on: November 20, 2007, 01:06:51 AM »
what's a good cheap sound fx processor for the car?  yun available locally.  just delay and reverb for my rear fills.  most local enthusiasts are into the spl thing.  got bit by the car audio setup bug.  just to make trafic just a wee bit bearable.

been thinkin of usin my behri virtualizer cause it doesn't get any use anymore.  but it's 220v.  hehe.

dunno if this is the right forum for this.  boss kit, kindly move elsewhere if not.

 :-) :-) :-)

I guess the music tech forum is as good a place as any for car audio. I'm just trying to imagine how a 19" rackmount fx will look mounted in your dashboard. :-D

Well, you could get a power inverter which will convert your car's DC voltage to 220VAC. I used to remember some Pioneer and Blaupunkt car systems having fx built in, but those were like in the 80's or early 90's.
