I went to GuitarFix a few days ago to have my tele's electronics fixed. As usual, super swabe parin magtrabaho ni Mang Rey!

Had my no-finish tele painted to butterscotch blonde. Of course, like many of Rey's growing number of clients, I was very happy how the finished product turned out. Pics to follow soon.

Now, here's what I wanted to share with you guys. I had the electronics rewired as well. The Artec bridge pickup that I bought did not fit the vintage ashtray bridge because it had a different mounting screw configuration. What Rey did was to install his own bridge pickup at no charge! Bili na lang daw ako ng bridge. Once I have a new bridge, he will replace the pickups with the one I bought at no charge. So ngayon, ang gamit-gamit ko ay yung pickups niya.

Napakabait talaga ni Rey. He will not overcharge you. Sa latest transaction ko with him, lugi pa siya kasi nasa akin yung pickups niya. Magaling nga luthier na, priceless pa yung goodwill na ipinapaabot sa mga clients niya. God bless you Rey! May you achieve more success in your endeavor.

Nagpa install ako ng vintage tremolo bridge na 2 3/16inch spacing sa strat ko na previously 2 1/16 spacing. So parang plug yung previous holes tapos drill ng new holes. Sakto and accurate ang placing.

Had my electric guitars and acoustic guitar set-up and modded by sir Rey, pulido at the best mga gawa nia, budget friendly din ang services nia, kahapon ng umaga dinala ko generic strat ko (hehe) for pick up replacement and mods, guess what? well as expected ganda! haha,lupet din nung nakita kong schecter (tama ba spelling ?) na white with 8 strings!

A very humble person to work with. Just had the first installment of upgrades for my burst Tele..and a simple pickup and rod setup of my Thinline. Will definitely go back for the last upgrade on the burst..
