Umm sa kin lang naman...

If you want an upgrade, an amp with at least a 12 inch speaker should be your norm. Okay yang maliit for situations like say punta ka sa guitar clinics and you need to bring a totable amp. So you can leave it as it is. But if you want SOUND, 12 inches speaker lang lagi. I ditched my 10-inch speaker amps when I realized this.

Edit: that being said however, I have already scalarized amps as small as a Marshall MS4 with good results. Don't expect the world of it tho, but there is a definite tonal improvement. This operation can be performed safely on any amp, behringer or not. :D

Thanks for the share of knowledge, hmmm, because of that I'm already planning  of ditching my amp also.  :-D

...a Marshall MS4? that cute miniturize head + 2 cabinets amplifier? ayos ah.

Pede kaya palitan na lang yung speaker nung Behringer amp from 8 to 12 inches?  :? Alang kaso?

Ye that small belt-clip amp. Nag-tighten ang tunog when we installed a metalcore scalarizer on it. Madali lang kasi install yun, it just gets tapped on the master volume knob.

By necessity, magkaka-butas ang amp mo.

Try ka na lang punta sa Pier and see if you can find a Yamaha J25. 12 inches speaker and you can get it for 4 thou lang. That way, you don't need to ditch your Behringer amp :D

Thanks for the tips, ok ah, anything goes Behringer na to.  :-D

Now I'm planning to have a better amp after what I've read. Need to collect some funds starting today.  :-)

And also thinking of scalarizing my current amp.

up for this thread.

i sent a query to Behringer's Customer Support asking if Behringer stomps are all buffered. sabi nila e True Bypass daw, e di ba anliit naman ng switch non? (FET right?)

i recently found out na Behringer stomps latch better pag ang gamit na plug e yung tig-P25 na 90 deg. na 1/4 plug na flat yung head but longer sleeve, unlike dun sa mga ordinary na ginagamit natin, pero kwidaw pa rin ako kasi nahuhugot yung tip nung ganun pag lumuwag. katakot! pero latches well.

an honest question: why use behringers when you can afford other brands?

napansin ko kasi karamihan kasi dito sa forum, especially those who are really financially capable, would snob behringer products.

common faults people find in Behringer stomps are yung tac switch, battery compartment, 9V jack and loose knobs. saken e2 lang reklamo ko: "parang maiksi yung saksakan ng 1/4 plug" and that conventional plugs do not latch well. nahuhugot minsan. other cases wala naman akong reklamo. functions as intended, except for one pedal. sheessh..

I'll never be a fan of Behringer after not getting good results with the Behringer HellBabe and the crappy sounding Distortion Modeller but this looks promising -->

true. i have an eq700 and a dr100,

and hanggang dun na lang for behringer.  :-)

cheaper and practical?

let's take my choice on my 2 behringer pedals as an example:

EQ700 - i just needed an EQ pedal, and since EQ pedals for me are the same, regardless of brand, i just bought the cheapest available to me which is the EQ700. so far it has satisfied my taste for my tone.

DR100 - when i was looking for a reverb pedal, i tested a boss RV-5, digitech digiverb, and a dan electro corned beef pedal. the rv-5's reverb was nice, but it had a boatload of features that i won't be using, the same with digiverb. dan electro's corned beef was cheap but did not sound right for me. when i tested the DR100, i was so impressed with its sound - the bonus is its cheap price. so i immediately looked for a seller in the classifieds and got one immediately.  (thanks to John Angeles of MYMP, sa kanya galing DR100 ko ngayon)  :-D

Ang gitara parang syota yan e. When you find a good one, nay a great one, go get it.

Not all guitars, kahit RJ are created the same. While its true I did something to your guitar, I still can't forget being blown away by it when I was done. So technically speaking, I don't know yet if your guitar and the contact scalarizer loved each other very much. I don't know if I can replicate what I did for your strat on others. Baka perfect match sila.

I have a Squier Strat although hindi na-perfect yung contact scalarizer nun (gotta work on that ngapala). Na-atat kasi akong matuyo yun e. But your RJ is...basta. :D

My G2 is off the table na, main fx ko ngayon sya hehehehe.

Pati yung pagka-rustic ng finish nya...it's so ME :D

What will happen ? Sa GDI21 pa lang you will encounter massive tonesuck. Don't get me wrong tho', its one of the few behringer pedals that I love, stock.

alam mo pards, agree ako sa DR100- i sold my dd100 and bought this. I set the level to 9oclock , tone 12oclock, time 9oclock and set it to modulate mode for a chorus like reverb- its like having chorus +reverb ...better than the dd100!

tonal heven-this rv-5 clone is a REAL knockout
