Hehehe yun nga ang nakakatakot baka eraser ang humagis
nakatikim na ko ng eraser in high school!
was up all night at a gig at club dredd, didnt get any sleep. took a nap in class, the chalk that my teacher was throwing at me had no effect, so she decided to curve-ball an eraser, one with the wooden handles.
very effective. woke me up upon impact, puti pa buhok ko. must've looked cool coz the chalk particles had a smokey effect
just an update-
if the stars align in my favor, i'll be having rodney vidanes on bass. hes my fave noypi bassist, i think you guys are familiar with him and his work with fuseboxx, and i think he's in alak pa.
hes mean at prog, and amazing at fusion, idol ko to
we'll be doing three tunes. i'll be thinking up of aprogarm we can follow, that'll have a break for us to snack out.
@fusionenigma- yes bro, its a great idea and thank you for the suggestion. however, i dont think after a 3 to 4 hour (could be longer!) clinic i can sustain the energy for an open jam, and the tunes played will serve as enough entertainment. all the ideas will be demonstrated in the tunes, and i feel that it would help as collective ear training as well.
it would be great to delve into harmony, but due to the nature of the material and the threat of info overload, i dont think it will be healthy or digestible if i go deep down into areas of harmony (heck, it a huge subject that merits its own clinic!).
i wanna keep things as simple as possible and applicable on the get-go, as my promise for it to appeal to musicians of all skill lever. the main thrust of the clinic would have to be rhythm, our major crutch as guitarists. as of now, i'm thinking of the elements that would work best to serve as a preamble to other areas of improv, a springboard, if you will.
as of now, i'm still debating with myself on the presentation, it's my first time to do this, and my merciless ocd will take over, to make sure everything is spic-and-span, and that everybody gets their time and money's worth.
cheers man! thanks for your advice
