i had a lot of, not too bad comments before... hehe...

like "mas okay kung wag ka ng pumalo... "

but the only one that affected me much was this:

"ung isang part dun sa palo mo, parang hindi swak eh.. TUNOG KINABISADO"

and that striked me bad...

what i got from it was that i'm just as good as a dead man playing..

kyut naman ng thread na to hehe!

may isang battle of the bands ako na nasalihan back when i was in dubai nov 2006 ata yun. first time ko eh. tugtog namin BULONG ni kitchie pero before that yung intro namin SCARRED nd DT yung intro part lang naman sa sobrang nerbyos ko napabilis. ayun hanggang matapos yung bulong ang bilis namin. wala naman nagcomment that time. angas pa nga dahil ako lang babaeng drummer dun. ang masama, pag-uwi ko dito, napanood ng boypren ko at ng mga kaibigan nya yung vid namin ayun asar talo ako. parang may hinahabol daw ako

nagmamadali ba daw ako hehe!

aba kahit nagmamadali yung BULONG namin naka first place kaya kme bleh! hehe! ngayon di na ako nagbabanda hahaha! ayaw ni boss eh.

am nag drums daw ako para mag pasikat... sa totoo lang daw wala ako hilig sa music tas dami pa kumantyaw sakin... yung nagsabi sakin nito ay yung matanda samin na old school banda na puro payo sa lahat ng bagay na maasar ka... kasi hindi daw sya nagkakamali... ewan ko sa kanya hindi ko ngasya kilalala eh...

my drums are so talkative. meaning that almost every measure, i always put a short fill. and they also said that i don't have my own grooving technique. . .

well, they were right back then though. this made me practice and practice a lot.

now, they say i've changed.

guys, when people give you negative comments,

"mag-gitara ka na lang!"

i'm really a guitarist but i wanted so bad to learn the drums...so i watched and watched and i drummed air until i learned.

yan ang kadalasan naririnig ko sa mga taong maraming alam na wala naman alam...

mag aaral po ako ng double pedal all in due time saka wala pa akong pambili... nakakainis lang minsan ung exage pa kung sabihin sakin paulit ulit pa "mag double pedal ka na kasi"...

mga 5 years n to... hehe... natawa ako sabi sakin ng tito ko.. gumamit ka nmn ng cymbals! hahaha buong kanta d ko napalo ung crash pti ride hahahaha mga 3 songs un.. puro hats n snare.. hahaha pero bata pko nun n nahiya pa.. ^_^

hey man, i got the same thing too.

many people think that using the double pedal is so easy. they think that it's just like jogging on the pedals, which is very amusing.

there was this guy who said " mas magaling ako sayo nag dodobol pedal ako e" only to find out that he uses the double pedal at the end of the last song. i.e jogging and hitting the cymbals without rhythm.

being only a single pedal user doesn't mean you are still a newbie. i know a lot of great drummers who can do wonders on a single pedal.

well, of course, i wouldn't be a hypocrite. i play the double pedals, and i still consider it as a "Plus Point" on a drummers arsenal of fills if he can properly use the double pedal. and not just by jogging on the damned pedal.

Ahh the prejudice between Single and Double Pedal Users.

Meron yung mga nagdodouble talaga na anyabang ano? Alam niyo ginagawa ko sa kanila, i demonstrate what they are doing in a single pedal hehehe. With much more consistency and groove. Hindi katulad ng helicopter single notes nila. And pagkatapos ko, nakanganga na lang sila wehehehehe....Pero i don't usually show-off ayoko na nagiging bida ako eh. Pero there are others na bilib ako dahil nagrurudiments sa double peds and ang ganda ng pasok sa song not like the single note helicopter kind. Corny na nun.
