after going through tons of wood i settled on a log of kamagong
7 feet x 11" x 6"

one thing that entered my mind, it looks (and smells) like malaysian blackwood. there are many sub species of asian ebony and i really think this is a type of malaysian blackwood. its more olive in color than brown. but i could be wrong, who cares they're all mine!!!!
