I saved almost all the pictures of that build in a folder in my computer! LOL

Dream guitar ko na siguro yun. That might be the closest you can get to owning a vintage 50s or 60s strat. Not bad for 5k USD. Hehehe

me too!  i really love the sunburst finish he did with it with the grain of the ash still very prominent!  btw, his 50s strat build costs $3,600.  :-)

regarding ash the thing is you cant buy ash saatin na good for 1 guitar body lang you have to buy the whole board, pagusapan nalang natin if ever gawin natin group buy para tipid or pag bumili ako kumuha ka nalang nang pang 1 body blank from me hehehehe

that we shall do brader.  :-D

Looking good pre.  Did you make your own router table? Where do you you get big clamp like yours?

Your build logs needs a to be in another thread!  So that others who skip this thread can see what you can do!

I think it's time that we weekend builders should have our own forum :-D

May next time pa naman  :lol:

@JB you have my number?

Yep.  Text you soon.

I liked the kalantas we saw at our outing.  It was quarter sawn and with straight even grains.  Bunt don't think they'll let me buy a small piece, it has to be the entire board.

Eric, where is this place that sells salvaged wood?

@Jb
Its in LAong Laan Manila, near UST. It's like an ukay-ukay of scarp furniture, woods, and home decors. There are lots of shop in the area so your trip would always be worth while.
