So far I've been trying to asses the music indusrty here in the Philippines and so far I think late rock scene like grunge,glamour,alternative 90's will be shining soon. You could see like bamboo,and other famous bands are actually the same.
Guitar riff,tuning,melody lyrics are all in the same patern.
Don't you guys notice it?
Metal I guess is kind of hard to predict tpos na panahon ng greyhounds,slapshock and my fav band ''quezo ata...

for me if ever na may susunod genre ng music..magiging tawag sa kanila yung mismong pangalan ng banda nila...on my opinion lang...pero mukhang malabo mangyare sa mga pinoy yun...kc lge tayong nanggaygaya lang ng style, di sten mawawala colonial mentality khet sa music nalang!!!

I agree... Pinoys sometimes tend to become copycats... they copy whatever they see from foreign bands and other people... but still Filipinos always try to make things different in any way... we're just really creative...

mainstream rock is making a comeback though,now that bands that formerly called it quits like silverchair,smashing pumpkins etc. are playing good music again.
