Skid Row is one of my favorite bands when I hooked up with rock/metal music. I still like the band and listening to their records. Kaso, nung kasikatan nila, na-categorize sila as Glam Rock band. Pero if you'll listen naman, heavy ang tugtugan nila lalo sa Slave To The Grind and Subhuman Race album.

a cross between both siguro... kasi besides their mega hit remember you they had some pretty heavy riffed songs.  (not at all riffs that a typical hair metal or glamrock band would incorporate to their songs)

Slightly OT: weird lang to see Sebastian star in a show like Gilmore Girls. there goes your street cred.  :|

Haven't heard their new vocalist yet.

Snake's a killer guitar player. I really liked his Little Wing rendition on the B-sides album.

Maganda nga yung rendition nila ng Little Wing, pati pagkaka-kanta ni Sebastian Bach ok.

The B-Sides album? AFAIR 5 songs lang ata yun eh... tas yung isang song si Rob Zombie kumanta...

It's funny coz for a long time, I really thought that Little Wing was composed by Skid Row.

Eto yung  track list:

1. "Psycho Therapy" (originally by The Ramones)
2. "C'Mon and Love Me" (originally by Kiss)
3. "Delivering the Goods" (originally by Judas Priest)
4. "What You're Doing" (originally by Rush)
5. "Little Wing" (originally by Jimi Hendrix)

Sa "Psycho Therapy" guest si Taime Downe ng Faster Pussycat.
Sa  "Delivering the Goods" naman, guest si Rob Halford ng Judas Priest.

Snake's a killer guitar player. I really liked his Little Wing rendition on the B-sides album.

You mean Scotti Hill?  :-D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yx5y-Smq1WE

He did the intro and the solo.  :-)

They did. They released the album "Thick Skin" a few years ago. But without Bas, they sound like your generic alternative band with cool guitar licks courtesy of Scotti and Snake. See the video of Ghost from Thick Skin below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuZAB4dAC2U

They also released another album. "Revolutions Per Minute" but like Thick Skin, they never have the Skid Row sound we loved.

Listen to this...

Is this Skid Row?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwgv94sxlZg

 :-D

Good thing Sebastian Bach released Angel Down in 2007 featuring the gods, Bobby Jarzombek on drums, Steve DiGiorgio on bass and Metal Mike on guitars. If the said names don't ring a bell and you dont know these guys, trust me they are not noobs!  :-D

Listen to "You don't understand"...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Pyf3gR_i9M

The album is one of the best metal albums released IMO.

If you miss the ballads... Fear not the album has 2!  :-D

Falling into you with that "Queen" vibe.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ECrKSlSgnM

and By Your Side with that smooth acoustic guitar.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h2E3D_GdAI

Sarap di ba?  :-D

You want to headbang? I'll give you the title track!  :-D

and by the way...

Axl Rose sang on 3 songs on the album!  :-D

to answer the question sa thread...

based on the albums released by Skid Row:

Skid Row - Glam Metal!  :-D

Slave to the Grind - Thrash/Heavy Metal  :-D

Subhuman Race - METAL!!!  :-D

Skid Row after Bas left? HINDI NA METAL!  :-D

Sebastian Bach - vocals
Ted Nugent - lead guitar, vocals
Scott Ian - rhythm guitar, vocals
Evan Seinfeld - bass guitar, vocals
Jason Bonham - drums, percussion, vocals

these are the members. i think this is a project band for a show in mtv? haven't watched it though.
