Do you still remember your first Live performance as a guitarist?

Ako, naalala ko, nakaBass na ko nun, bago nun may mga balak ako para medyo mabuhay yung Band namin(bawi sa showmanship) pero nung nadun na ako tiklop ako, tinapos ko yung 3 kanta ng nakatalikod ako at nakatago sa P.A. system.

first live perfomance ko?

na-execute ko naman ng maayos yung role. sanay na kasi akong humarap sa maraming tao kasi before akong magbanda nasa marching band na ako at the same time. kaya hindi hassle yung crowd pero syempre andun pa rin yung kaba iba naman kasi yun. pero nakaharap ako sa tao nun yun lang di ako kagaya ngayon na medyo makulit na sa stage.

my first live performance happened during my 4th year in high school..

fund raising concert namin..2-day concert for seniors week..astig..alternative era pa to..

ako lang yung galing sa school namin..my bandmates were all college students..nadaan ko lang sa palakasan kaya pinayagan kami ng principal namin..

nakakakaba talaga sa una..but eventually ang sarap ng pakiramadam..ang laki pa ng kinita ng seniors..heheh..

my first gig was on 1996. grade 6 pa ako nun. we played huling el bimbo. we didn't even finish the song coz we forgot everything, i mean everything. haha.

grabe stage fright namin nun, hindi na nga ako maka strum ng chords. nakakahiya talaga. hehe. pero sabi ng teacher namin magaling "daw" kami. hahaha.

1994 and I played bass for U2 covers. With or Without you is probably the easiest bassline you could ever learn hahahaa

back then i literally and shamelessly begged to borrow a bass guitar from another band i dont even know.

My first gig as a guitarist was back in 2004 at the very first fair organized by the UP Anime and Manga Enthusiasts (AME).

My band back then already had a small following so it wasn't really a problem for us to get support from the crowd.

However, I still played with my guitar barely making any sound. I wasn't confident enough to let them hear what I was playing. I didn't even know how to use a pick back then.

oo nga noh.... sarap balikan ng nkaaraan... hehe nung 1st tym ko nung high school ako... bago pa kami tutugtug di na ko mpakali parang naiihi na nga ako eh hahahahaha....... pro nung pagkatapos... parang gusto kong bumalik sa stage... sarap sa pakiramdam hahaha.. sa school kami 1st na nag perform.. slow rock pa un hehe oye..

looking back on my first live perfomance always cringe in shame...i look like crap, sound like crap, and and i'm so nervous i didn't know if i'm hitting my notes right...but hey despite that we had fun...i just can't talk about the details at this time though

OMG. Nakakahiya. It was in DLSZ. Battle of the Bands. We played Sink or Swim by Chicosci and Wish You Were Here by Incubus. Grabe. First song was Wish You Were Here by Incubus, ako yung drummer. Tapos Sink or Swim, ako yung guitarist, WALANG DRUMS. ANG PANGET.XD

My first gig ever was a FREE JAM gig. We had covers that we turned into free jams. Solo heaven. Haha. Debut pa yun. We turned everything fusion. We even made a song on the spot for the debutant with matching lyrics! Hehe.

I was in third year, it was our schools battle of the bands. We played Nirvana's "Lithium"..

We lost but it was AWESOME!

ako first live performance was sa birthday ng friend namin. two trick pony patugtog namin nun and sobrang sabog. pero wala kaming paki, enjoy parin kami.

....high school....14 years old. I was singing and playing rhythm. Butterflies in my stomach is "good sign" for me....it means I am excited and I want to give my best performance.....compared to when you feel nothing...my performance would just be average and sloppy.

1994.. 4th yr high. nagambisyon yung classmate kong maging lead guitarist. tinanggal nila sa band yung band leader na lead guitarist. nangailangan sila ng bassist. ako yung kinuha. kalungkot naman para dun sa tinanggal..

i was 4th year HS and we played runaway train by soul asylum.. it was a first for all of us in the band and we won the contest!

my first gig with my current band could still be one of the best performances we have ever had..

yung akin nung 1styr HS pa ko, extension program recital ng UPCMu, di ko na masyado maalala kung ano nangyari at ano yung pyesa ko basta ang alam ko kabado ako nun, lalo na nung makita ko yung mga mas magagaling sa akin haha

we played Darkness fell by wolfgang i didnt got the chords right i didnt even owned a tuner before soo basically there were 3 tuning patterns my guitar the bass and the rythms

i felt my grueling hours of listenig and sipra thing wa put to waste

Sa katagalan nang panahon, I cannot remember the first time I played live. Pero, first time na tumogs kami sa Whisky, may babaeng tumayo sa pinaka harap nang stage. Tapos habang tumutugtog kami, tinaas nya kamiseta nya at pinakita sa amin ang kanyang (.)(.)

bigla kong nakalimutan kung ano yung kantang tinutugtog namin, pati yung singer biglang nag-adlib nang lyrics, yung drummer lang ang patuloy ang tugtog.

first gig 2nd year highschool dahil soirée namin sa isang exclusive all girl highschool. Ako pala ang kumanta and rythm guitar ng "alison road" ng gin blossoms...kahit naka ilang praktis na kami, pagdating ng live performance nakanta ko yung 2nd verse imbes na yung 1st kaya medyo nag 'panic mode' ako...2 beses ko kinanta yung verse...wahahhahaha...after nun d nako kumanta ever...gitara na lang dong...rak en roll!!!
