alesis multimix firewire!!!!!

     Feedback naman sa alesis multimix firewire, sino sa inyo nakagamit na nito? hows the peformance? wala ba drop outs?

I used it as a live mixer once. A-okay. Haha. Recording via firewire not yet cause I don't have the right firewire card for it yet.

       nice thread there jepoy, im planing to get a tascam US-1641 USB2.0 pero mukang napag isip ako dun sa thread. . At first im really like the tascam FW-1082 problema ko lang is mejo mahal cya and parang kukulangin ako sa line considering the 10 inputs, but considering to have 3 different modes (computer, monitor/mix, midi) is very useful. .  Im also considering the alesis multimix 12 or 16, and presonus interfaces.  what do you think jepoy?    please give me an idea. .

what ive read about presonous interface is that theres a lot of driver issues... very unstable. But a friend of mine is using a presounous firestudio and its working flawlessly.

I used to have a Multimix. Personally... i love Alesis Multimix's mic pres. No driver issues whatsoever. Very portable and you can carry it if you want to have a mobile DAW setup. For me its a poormans Mackie Onyx firewire mixer.

But if you have a budget to support ur GAS... go for for a Mackie Onyx

Yup thats what ive heard bout presonus, what about tascam FW-1082, any feedback about this unit? and whats the difference between FW 1082 and alesis multimix? which one is better?

still the same... driver issues with fw1082
id go for multimix. i didnt had any problems with it
