Mutyumu - Il y a(album)

Para sakin, napa-EPIC ng songs nila. Sobrang explosive!

Boo.

I like Japanese post-rock bands more than their American/European counterparts.

Thanks for sharing these.

Bump ko lang 'to :) I did a Google search for "philmusic post-rock" and found this thread.

I've been a huge post-rock fan since for around five years now. Not just post-rock but other similar/complementing styles such as shoegaze, drone, ambient, sluadge metal and heavy psych.

The music I listen to, play and (try to) create is almost exclusively like that.

Fave bands: EITS, GY!BE, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Grayceon, Mooncake, Pelican, MBV, Kyuss, Colour Haze, Mono, World's End Girlfriend, Boris, Dirty Three, Earth --- basta MADAMI...

(listening to Boris /w Merzbow's "Rock Dream" atm)

Matagal nga lang akong di nakapag-gitara before deciding to pursue it seriously a few months ago. I already have a dirt pedal, but I think I want a fuzzbozx, delay & reverb (woohoo GAS!) para mas magaya itong style ng music na ganito.

Jamming minsan! Hehehe.

Pakinggan nyo Encounters With A Yeti. Under ata sila ng Terno Recordings.

Pero pinaka-gusto ko talaga is This Will Destroy You.

hindi ko sigurado kung matuturing na post rock mga gawa ko pero i was influenced by many post rock bands like mogwai, this will destroy you, god is an astronaut, if these trees could talk, godspeed you black emperor and explosions in the sky. kasama narin si "akira yamaoka" japanese soundtrack artist ng silent hill games (post rock ba siya?  :-))

we don't really mind playing a hc gig, then an indierock show, then an electronic bill.
as long as it doesn't go against our punk "ethics"  :-D
we have a lot to say and new crowds are always great to share what's on our minds.

we're taking our time with the recording. tamad/busy/kulang sa budget.
but we have a couple of songs out on different local compilations, and a few international benefit comps.

we have a demo of sorts that we've put together for our cebu tour last year and for our recent baguio gig with germany's out of step.
pm me if any of you folks want one.  :-D
