pardon the n00b question.... whats post rock? wiki and google hasnt given me a clear answer eh.
hndi to sarcastic ha serious na tanong to ehehehe i was just wondering on what you guys definition on it.... thanks!
think classical 17th century music applied today.
Mono - Yearning (ang ganda ng bassist nila... japanese sila.)
Gregor Samsa - Young And Old
(ganda ng violinist nila. friend ko sa myspace haha. si mia matsumiya. japanese rin pero violinist lang. taga tate yung banda)
minimalist form of band music siya. ika nga, usage of rock elements in a non rock form. like using distortion to thicken the sound. post rock usually relies more on texture or "kapal ng tunog". sometimes it can be minimal. sometimes it can be a friggen wall of sound. heavy usage of delay and reverb rin in addition to just distortion para mag lagay ng texture. i believe this is the only genre where violins could go really well with the whole bandscape. if may vocals man, it seems part of the whole sound itself, minimal lyrics rin.
kame post-rock! hihihihihhi...
i dont mean to offend but by the looks of your username, you may be referring to "post-hardcore". post-rock is a totally different genre.
meron na palang post rock dito sa pinas. banda ni "keida" dito sa pilmu. Legarda ang pangalan
@studiowan: talaga? hehe. mameet nga. pupunta rin kami ng malaysia this october eh. by then puros post rock na tinutugtog namin
