I'm a big fan of john frusciante's guitar playing and music. Really love his solo albums and him as a red hot chili pepper. But what are your thoughts on his latest album, his unexpected techno rap album, letur-lefr? Nagulat ako dito pero ok naman, pero namiss ko lalo yung dati nyang sound at red hot chili peppers na kasama sya.

Wow! May ganitong thread pala! Big fan ako ni Frusciante! Hindi ako guitarist pero idol ko to. Isa syang henyo!

dapat ang thread title ay Hardcore JF fans. some are still pissed that he's finished with the group(rhcp) but if you're really a fan kahit yung solo albums niya, may na- appreciate kang element sa bago niyang gems kaya ka nga naging fan. unless talagang gusto mo lang eh yung mga contribution niya sa chili peppers.

^okay lang bro. my 2 cents lang naman yun  . siguro nga nakapaninibago ang solo projects ni john pero noon pa man sa rchp may unique na input si john sa mga kanta lalo na kapag nagba- backup vocals ramdam mo na may iba pa siyang kayang i-offer musically tulad na lang ng b-sides sa californication na velvet glove at savior kahit na todo bigay si anthony kiedis meron din bagong dimension o layer dun sa kanta.

bottom line , siyempre naman classic lahat ng mga na-contribute niya sa RHCP.

kahit ako mga sir hindi ko masyado trip yung bagong album ni frusciante, pero some of the songs na- aapreciate ko naman kase fan din naman niya ako since my dad and uncle (drew asuncion)may their souls rest in peace) is also a fan.. i've been listening to the peppers since i was i child and i must admit that john si a big loss.. good thing josh is there to take john's place but in a different way.. and in my opinion josh is suited in the peppers than navarro.. peace..

Everybody’s parents make some sort of mistakes and have some sort of sense of carelessness when it comes to developing their child’s sexuality.....and their brain, like, what’s considered smart to the world and parents is like memorising things and doing good in school and what I’ve come to find is what smart is, is being able to trip out….you know….that’s using more parts of your brain, that’s your subconscious at work, that’s lining up thoughts that are…..and doing really intense things to your whole existence here and in all your other lives that are going on simultaneously……that’s what smart is, not just memorising something, a monkey can do that…so drugs just help that. I did it my whole life for……Kiss was the first time I really tripped out on music where it just really took me to a magical place and drugs are just….go along with that. I don’t think of it as any sort of heavy alteration that hurts you, it ‘s like, if I snort a lot of coke, like (sarcastically-) ‘Oh God that was terrible! I wish I hadn’t done that in front of you, oh awful…are you ok?, I think I’m gonna be Ok’

Yes i agree.. sa bssm siya talaga nag bloom as john frusciante.. sa mothers milk nilang album mejo may hint pa ni hillel slovak sa playing style ni john.. pero bssm talaga solid.. john frusciante tone na talaga
