Les Paul rin sa Higher Ground and sa Readymade. Sabi niya sa BTW album halos tele daw, which is kitang kita sa Slane concert. SG yata sa Knock me down? Not sure though.

Sana may magregalo sakin ng strat.. hehe

Hehe sa totoo lang pag ang gamit ni Frusciante is hindi strat or tele, parang napapaisip ako ng konti hahaha! Bumili ako ng strat at tele kase yun ang gamit niya tas makikita mo may iba pang gitara, parang ganun haha! Wala lang

haha ngyre din sakin yan sir. kumuha ko ng SG nung naka-sg si frusciante.. ayun.. ang sagwa. di ako sanay eh, haha. minsan talaga wala sa gamit yung ganda eh, nasa gumagamit. haha.

Pero ngayon his new main guitar daw is the Yamaha SG yung hybrid LP and SG

He used it in his latest song "Wayne"

mismo! the Slane Concert is one of the best performance of Fru..

anyways.. nakakaaliw pa rin talaga yung preference and affinity ni John sa BOSS DS2 eh noh..

parang yung love lang nya sa 62 Strat nya..

^Hehe oo nga. Makatry nga ng DS-2 minsan, i-trade ko someday ang RAT 2 ko para maiba lang hahah.

Higit sa lahat pag dating sa gear, gusto kong makuha yung clean/crunch tone niya sa Slane. Yung parang sa I like dirt sa record. At yung PINAKA-LAST strum niya sa LIVE IN MILAN. ahahaha tandang tanda ko.

Imo, yung tone niya sa stadium arcadium tour similar sila ni Josh pag nasa Dot Hacker si Josh. Hehe in some instances lang.

Japan yung DS2 ko, actually I got it via trade from Dale (gitarakista) many years ago.. swap ko yung OD2r Turbo Overdrive ko sa kanya.. lahat na ginawa ko para magustuhan ko pero wala talaga eh.. di ko makuha yung timpla na gusto ko..

the closest tone setting na nagustuhan ko is when I paired it with the CS2 Compression Sustainer and a cheap Boston EQ thru a Marshall Valvestate 8080.. pero aside from that wala akong marinig na "kakaiba" feeling ko pare parehas kami ng tunog nung mga nakakatugtugan ko kasi masyadong "common" yung distortion nya.

I dont really remember kung nabenta ko yung DS2 or binigay ko sa pinsan ko eh.. will try to check it out.. if ever interesado ka ba for a trade?? hehehe

pero everytime na bumalik sa John sa Rhcp, may bagong breakthroughs silang naa-achieve.

napaka-evident nun ng first time niyang sumali tapos nung californication to arcadium, they were able to top all their previous works.

I read somewhere sabi ni Fru na may unique feature daw itong wah na to na nae-express yung certain notes na ginagawa nya when using it? I was able to use one of this way back from a classmate altho tukmol pa ako nun when it comes to wah pero wala akong naalalang special about it.. nung time na yun ang wah na gamit namin sa bahay is the "Morley Wah/Distortion".

Right now the closest I can compare the tone of the WH-10 is sa old Boss FW-3 Wah.. and to think that even the standard GCB-95 is better when it comes to performance and tone.. oh well maybe its just me..

any WH-10 users here? baka pwede maelaborate yung sinasabi ni Fru..

pag sinasoundtrip ko to habang nakapikit para kong naha-high! ibang klaseng level ng energy yung napapalabas ni froosh sa gitara nya. a true artist. Hindi lang sa gitara magaling, pati vocal harmonies nya anlaki ng naitulong sa sound ng chili peppers. at kung napansin nyo yung mga chords na ginagamit nya sa solo work nya at sa chili peppers, halos parepareho, pero ang malupit dun eh hindi magkakatunog! may ibang feel bawat kanta kahit ung chord pattern halos parepareho. ibang klase talaga sya!
