I saw a vid of PG playing an Ibanez GRG. He made it sound like a million bucks! Yes good gear can help give you great tone and sounds, but it's your fingers who will utilize them hehe.

 owned this kind of guitar dati, not my kind of guitar, nipis kasi masyado, yung stock pup nya din is weak for me, kaya nag install ako ng in3 and inf4 dati, umokei na, pero yung tremolo ytem nya kahit nakalock nawawala padin sa tono.

yung dumi na yun na parang alikabok ay wood shavings lang yun from the routing ng cavity at buffing ng finish. it's normal

Hi there guys, I'm not really in depth when it comes to Fernando strats.. reason why i need to get your advice. I'm about to purchase a 1 this pay day. its 2nd hand and i don't know how this will pair against the unique series or if this belongs to it.. or if its authentic..

I don't think there are fake Fernando guitars. They're very cheap guitars so there's no real point in coming up with an even cheaper copy.

As for the review of the Strat, I have one but it's a Unique Series. The thing is, the parts used in these guitars are of very low quality. In fact, the trem claw (?) of my guitar is almost completely covered in rust when I got it. Now, a Strat is supposed to have moving parts (i.e. the trem system) and if these moving parts are crappy, then it's highly unlikely that the guitar will stay in tune when you play. So, unless you're getting this as a project guitar to be upgraded later on, you might want to consider other options.

The Les Paul and Tele copies are a different story though. I think they can be decent guitars when properly set-up. I'm just not sure about the stock pickups.

Thanks for the insight chief.. it is very much appreciated.. reason why im getting one is to use as 2nd gear.. kinda like a carry anywhere practice guitar.. and I saw this tread... its really interesting to have a 2nd guitar that looks very much the same as my primary gear but its of course cheaper..

2 Lang yung Knobs 1 Volume 1 tone. Tapos may Toggle switch siya eh. sabi sakin ng clerk para daw yata sa tone yun ng Humbucker...

mukhang ok naman. although di ko napakinggan kasi napadaan lang ako sa store.

Yung switch nya para ma split into single coils yung humbucker nya...nakita ko na na rin tong guitar na to...mukang solid naman yung feel nung gitara..kaso di ko din na try..sobra kasing daming tao dun sa shop nung last saturday (sa JB Moa). Pati nga price di ko na rin natanong...heheehe

Got a Fernando Unique Series Strat. Ayos ang playability after ko ipa set-up kay sir Rey ng Guitar Fix. Ang alma ko lang yung stock PUs, masyadong harsh. Sakit sa tenga. Going to get a Humbucker para sa bridge, kapag di pa rin ako solb I'll consider selling it and get a true HB geetar (which i should've done in the first place  )

Pero ang ganda ng feel at ang kinis ng finish. Sulit pa din
