Comment about free floating snare

Im not sure kung m thread na about this. I used the search function, but I can only find buy and sell.

I need your comment about free floating snares:

1. Compared to a same conventional shell (dimension and all, including heads), which will sound better?

2. What are its pros and cons?

Im planning to get one, but I need your opinion, lalo na ung may Tico Torres! What if there is a solid bronze (3mm) shell, do you think it will be any good with the FF system?

hmmm ang alam ko b4 mag vinnie paul si sir robert dela cruz gumagamit siya ng free floating snare na 14x3 or 4 d ko sure eh.. try nyo pakinggan mga tracks sa album ng queso (INSEKTA,TIAMAT etc. etc.) free flating snare yung gamit nya sa recording
