Sa pups no prob. Anong part ba papalitan mo?
Or pwedeng i pa metal polisher ko nalang yung cover?

It may look old on the outside pero it still sounds like new.

I mean sayang dapat di mo pinaconvert.

+1

seemed like kind of a waste to convert the thing to 6-string...a guitar like that is rare as it is, but to each their own i guess.

Papalitan pa yung bridge at nut nyan eh. Gastos ulit. Sana binenta mo nalang sakin tas bumili ka 6-string
pero kanya kanyang trip diba? IMHO lang naman talaga ehh sayang.

Here's my mid-70s Les Paul copy of Greco.
Still in the process of being restored to playable condition.

Here's Terry Kath of the band Chicago playing a similar model starting at 3:32( not sure what brand he was using but the form and shape is very similar)

[update]http://www.grecoed.com/good scans of old greco catalogs

Para din to sa mga interested sa Greco so we can share what we know. Here's mine:

It's a 1978 EG700 setneck

[update 052609]
mahogany two piece, two layer back
maple two piece top
mahogany three piece neck
rosewood Fingerboard
locking tuners
Gibson 57 classic/classic plus pickups (still have the stock U-2000)
Goodall NOS oil caps
refretted (used to have fret edge binding)
solid body and not pancaked

Hindi ko kaya ang Gibson hehe kaya I decided to get either a Greco, Tokai or Burny.

more pics here :D

How does it actually work?

dun sa shaft may pin sized hole. hanap ka ng matigas na wire or paper clip pasok mo dun and turn to tighten or loosen.

My current no.2 is a 1979 Greco Jeff Beck Strat.

Had to slightly tweak it with a new pickguard & selector switch as the stock switching drove me nuts. but I kept the old stuff for safe-keeping  :-)

I used this guitar at the pedal shoot-out, alot of the participants felt that she had the *cough* "hiyaw" thing going for her. Was not surprised as the 1st greco strat I owned had this quality too.

Still wrestling with the very pronounced V shape neck & radius. i admit to having a love/hate relationship with her as it takes me longer to warm up to her neck, but DAMN, THE TONE. it's a tough-love thing! She's a b*tch but she's fantastic!

Will post pics soon...
