Hello Philmusic people. Is there anyone around na sobrang in sa Gran Turismo series? hehehe... I played GT2 and GT4. Inaabot ako ng madaling araw pag-naglalaro nito.

Some news...

GT5 Prologue was already released featuring
- yet more advance, developed and detailed graphics than GT4
- new cars includes the 2007 Ferrari F1 car, a couple of ferrari cars (no ferrari was included on the previous titles), and the latest supercars on earth like the audi r8, the latest mitsu evo and sub imprezas, nissan gtr, etc...
- online racing! (first time ever)
- much more...

PS3 ang platform. wala pa sa pinas. sana pag-lumabas na yung GT5 na buo e pwede pa rin yung data card transfer from GT4. sayang yung mga 200+ na nasa garahe ko. hehehe

nice thread ako GT2 pa un huling nilaro dami ko na rin chikot dun wala kc ako erap para pambili ng PS2 or PS3 kaya nastuck na sa GT2 galing ng updates ng mga sumonod na versions ng GT kc may ferrari na before kc issue sa kanila na lagyan ng ferrari or lamborghini dahil ang mahal ng gagastusin para makakuha ng publishing rights.

nakuha ng polypony, yung developer ng gt yung rights for the ferrari cars. asteeg! ahm.. i think napasama ko yung lamborghini. come to think, wala pala dun yun. i was thinking of a different thing. sorry, i'll modify the entry. wala pa ring porsche kasi exclusive sa need for speed yung rights for a video game.

most reviews say na halos walang significant difference ang GT2 sa GT3. parang GT2 pa rin na nasa PS3 platfrom. Nilaro ko ang GT3. Di ko sya nagustuhan. Parang GT2 din. Pero nung narelease ang GT4, wow! Pamatay talaga sa graphics at sa simulation. Marami silang dinagdag na races. Around 96% lang ang kaya ko sa completion rate. Sobrang hirap kasi ng mga driving missions.

yup. eto ang console ng pinakamatinding matinding racing simulation video game.

may nabasa akong article na mas marami pang nabentang unit ng gran turismo kaysa sa toyota corolla na pinaka nabentang kotse in history.

agree ako jan sobrang tindi kc ng simulation niya compare sa mga nalalaro ko sa PSP racing games like WRC or F1 na sineset pa un difficulty sa GT based sa reality un setup ng mga chikot as in parang pang engineer sa dami ng inaadjust sa setup ng mga chikot kaya sa lahat ng racing games top sa list ko ang GT

the gran turismo series is super highly dedicated to bring the real thing in racing to life. the actual cars, the actual racing tracks, the actual racing events in the world and the actual racing physics. yung creator kasi nito ay isang 'car geek'.

for example, the top speed test.
kapag minodify mo yung mga factors that affects a top speed capability of a car e maari mo talagang lagpasan ang default top speed nun. this can be done by choosing the lightest tires, getting the top possible power, lowest spring resistance, lowest gound clearance, decreasing the car weight and getting the most optimal gear ratio. without any cheat e kayang umabot ng 300+mph ang top speed mo!!! syempre, sa ilang capable racing cars lang 'to. but then again, impossible na 'to sa totoong buhay kasi sasabog na yung gulong mo at this speed.

dun sa GT2 meron eh. yun favorite ko.

ok lang kahit hindi pa. wala pa kasi yung GT series na pang ps3 dito sa pinas. wait muna tayo pag lumabas na yung mga magagandang title sa ps3.

He was using a dodge charger in fast and the furious.

GT4 has really good graphics if you compare it to other ps2 racing games. It was way ahead of it's contenders.

wow... ako pag-pasikat na ang araw eh nagagawa ko namang pumigil mag-laro ng GT. saka safe distance ako lagi from the TV screen pag PS2 games.

by the way, my favorite car in the GT series is this

tommykaira ZZ-II

sobrang astig ang design. at kapag naka max tune e kayang tumapat sa mga Le Mans Prototype Racing Cars on some tracks.

Bringing up this thread. Just want to know if anyone in P.M. is into (or addict in my case

) sa Gran Turismo 5.

After hours of playing, nasa Level 30 na ako at both A and B-spec. All that is left is some special races at mga endurance events na lang ang kulang ko.

just playing GT on PSP
its far from the console versions but still brings the realistic feel

syempre kasama lagi yan sa bawat GT game. After level 30 nasa 95% na ang completion ng game so ilan na lang ang pwede gawin in terms of events and races. Nasa 80 cars ang nasa garage ko now, I want to have 2 Le Mans prototype pa at yung Ferrari 2007 F1. Bale credit farming mode din ako ngayon.

I'm more of a Forza player(please don't hate me), but what I love about GT5 is the list of cars which is almost endless.

Forza yung flagship racing game sa XBox. Haven't really tried it pero they say its really good. Been playing PS and GT kasi since high school so andun na ang loyalty ko.

I think Forza graphics is really good. Probably better than GT. What I like in GT is the realism and the racing details. 950+ cars in GT, tapos yung inside detaling ng mga premium cars panalo talaga.

I saw comparison videos between the two games, both are really good in terms of graphics and gameplay. I've played GT back in HS as well, maybe I just got tired and wanted to try something new. Hehe. Still hoping NFS gets back into the game though, since Underground 2 it's all been downward sloping for them. But that's another topic
