kung kukuha ka ng vid card, 512 lang ok na...anything na lalagpas ng 512 ay waste na..
it's not a waste... you'll get what you pay for in terms of the quality and future proofing your card if you get a higher spec na vid card...
@Fenris no need for SLI setup... just get an ATI 4870 and you're good to go... 13900 lang siya... i can play anygame in max settings... i just haven't tried crysis on Ultra high settings though... and i havne't tried it in crossfire configuration... but so far all the reviews that i've read for the crossire mode is good...
if you're an nvidia fanboy... well 1 8800GT OC is good enough or 8800GT alpha dog edition is maganda na for the games right now... and best bang for the buck yun for nvidia... pag ni SLI mo siya mas ayos... but you'll spend around 18-24k na non for the 2 cards... don't forget na you have to buy an nforce mobo which costs around 8k+ and a powerful psu unit which costs at the minimun 5k... and take account that you'll have a higher electricity bill...
btw... stay away from the 9xxx nvidia cards.. you wont get your money's worth... my friend has a 9800GTX he bought it a month ago and he's planning to sell it already coz he's not satisfied with the performance... just get the GTX260 or GTX280... or better yet go with ati 4850 or 4870... it's the best bang for the buck... don't be afraid of what they say about compatibility issues... stable siya... may constant updates naman drivers niya... i play games na 2 years old na or 3 years old na it can still handle it na walang palya... i played most of the latest games and it can handle it no sweat on high settings... the heat issues lang ng stock cooling ang con niya dapat talaga maganda ventilation ng case mo... but you can replace the stock cooling naman...
