yup meron! i got mine from RJ. Ibaņez copy. kahapon dumaan ako dun sa gale meron bago.  check mo bro. pero yung sa kin it needs major modification. both to make it more playable and good sounding.

pero more or less PWEDE na rin kahit papano.

mga sir tanong lang po. meron po ba nabibilhan ng floyd na pang 7-string na mura? san po kaya un? i'm planning to do a custom 7 kasi from mang max. ska magkano kaya dimarzio na pang 7-string?

tanong sa mga may mga EMG 707's

would they fit in the pickup cavity of RG series guitars? I use a RG7321 as my main seven axe and planning to order a pair of 707's sana but nabasa ko eto:

"EMG-707

Seven string guitar pickup. housed in EMG's "35 extended bass" housing.  available in Black only
note: the EMG-707 does NOT fit standard 7-string pickup spacing. these pickups will NOT replace your DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan, or other "stock" 7-string pickups."

that was taken from http://www.gtrheaven.com/emg.htm

if I purchase a pair of these do I literally have to have my pickup cavity "expanded"?

you need to route it, the EMGS are square-ish, you need to make room for the angles

you could chisel it, it was ok with my 7420, but because of the routing i couldnt use dimarzio anymore, that why i sold my 7420 its EMG only now lol, i wouldnt do it with a j.custom,

try mo din bro maghanap ng EMG81-7.  mas maganda reviews nun kesa sa EMG707.  yung EMG707 kasi 7string version ng EMG85 kaya mejo mas low output kesa EMG81-7 :)

If you guys are going to go EMG's on your seven string, you guys better be sure kasi there's no turning back to regular pickups because of routing a bit. If you make a mistake in your choice, saying the emg 7's are not for me, sorry nalang. I might as well find someone who uses these pickups on their guitar than to try and then regret in the end. If it were duncans or dimarzio, no problems.

just my 2 pesoses.

oo exactly why im 50-50 to the idea. i wouldnt want to do something that I would end up regretting.

@zasam: thanks for the tip ill go check that pickup out as well.
