It happened din naman sa exp pedal ko before and thats maybe the stigma of digital pedal stuff...need calibration and re-calibration din kasi may sensitivity yan eh.

ALSO this might be your case...maybe lng ha read the manual page 73 Having values from EXP pedal carried OVER. Set it EXP Pdl Hold to ON. Maybe your calling another(subsequent) patch with different volume. Setting this to ON the volume of the subsequent patch (volume level) will take on the value determined by the current angle pedal position.

sige po try ko yan mamaya. Anu po magiging effect nun kapag i set it ON? My volume level are all 0 to 100 sir.

I mean the connection. Thanks po.

Hi Mark,

Ako hindi na gumagamit ng DI kasi GT10 is already a DI.  Just set your OUTPUT SELECT (button under the output level knob) to LINE/PHONES and also in this setting lang gumagana  ang amp/cab/speaker sim na na-save mo sa mga patches na ginawa mo.

hi gerrit,

thanks for the input sir.

Do you thinks sir yahoo or sir kenzu fix this? Thanks

Hi Comrade Gerrit and markezekiel, I just wanna plug more on this topic. Sir Gerrit is correct, let me just add more info for using DIRECT. When using the GT into Guitar amp use the +10dB BUT in line device like Professional mixer PA or Recording Studio equipment set it +4dB to match the impedance of connected equipment.
See page 65 (main output level) and the procedure.
I'm using ULTRA-G DI box in PA live, i just use the -10dB and the DI box taking care of it PLUS 2 factors, the DI box has XLR out even with a XLR long cable into mixer
1. No HUM
2. Ultra-G DI box has SIMULATION for 4x12 cabs for PA speakers to sound like guitar amp SPEAKER. (without it " makalansing kasi may tweeter mga PA speakers") with this it truly make your PA monitor speaker at your front and the house sounds like and nifty guitar amp  :-D
Hope all the GT10 user get the idea...
Comrade in GT10
Roger

Just PM me na lang, bawal kalakal sa thread. Also read the DEC/HC thread for more reference.

Me I just DEMO LIVE the DEC to all attendee di kasama sa shootout kasi for multiFX yon akin, but they all now aware there is a solution for MultiFX modeller and eventually many analog aficionados someday surely will shift paradigm into MultiFX modeller coz they heard Digital sounding live demo turn into Analog tubey sound PLUS its versatility :-D
Well its up to them......

Assuming you already properly install the Audacity and downloaded the Gt10 advance drive from boss website with parameter set with the GT10 monitor CMD) (enable) and Direct Monitor to (ON) see page 91 of GT10 manual reboot the computer. Afterwhich you the connect and GT10 usb to any of the computer USB and it will find a new hardware isn't. Then if the drive is properly install it will prompt "your hardware now is ready"
Open the Audacity, Goto EDIT menu and select PREFERENCES...On the first tab AUDIO I/O on PLAYBACK pulldown arrow you'll see Boss GT10 select it and On the RECORDING pulldown arrow you'll see and select also Boss GT10. Select channel to stereo...

Hay  :-P its God(good friday) finally I have may vacation for 4 days and surf this forum.
How's your GT10 comrade..... Share what's new, I'm more and more loving and swear my marriage with GT10 forever. I'm loving it more and discovered many of of programmable assign functions of it  :-D
I finally stop my GAS for multiFX and lucky I never sell my analog stock and DIY stock for impromptu gig with 2 to 3 songs with little or no preparation or forethought. BUT if it's a Alumna or Alumnus party for my manager oldes presentation I just bring along may analog pedal with DI to PA thats it. 3 pedals Overdrive, Equalizer and metalzone modded. NO NEED TO BRING THE GT10

I will bring along my mac tomorrow when my family goes to Sabangan Resort in San Juan, Batangas.  Time also to take a break after all the missions me and my wife accomplished this month will unwind and back to mission when we get back home by sunday.  I always use my GT10 wherever I go in mission and workshops but this time I make sure that I bring along my Fender Stage 112 SE. May analog pa din ako small time brand lang Phaser, Chrous both Denio, Equalizer Behringer lang, Boss OD2 and vintage guyatone distortion made in japan nabili ko pa kay salonga sa raon for 750 brandnew way back 1986. I will still gas for the BBE Sonic Maxiizer.  Happy Easter to all!!

Good Day! mga Sir I need help with the WAH settings on my gt10,

the problem is this;

While I'm playing let's say I'm in BANK 1 PATCH 1 then I turn ON
the WAH in my onboard expression pedal there's no issue but when
I move UP or DOWN to other patches, say..PATCH 2 or 3 etc.. the
WAH goes OFF.

I'd really like to be able to go through other patches without
having to turn on my wah every single time I change patch, this is
why I tried setting this globally ..the freedom to do so is just
an ease..rather than setting each patch with fixed WAH ON or fixed
WAH OFF , it's just limiting to me, to my style of using the wah
along with other fx.

I set my EXP Pedal so that the values are carried over when
patches are called, I followed the instructions in the owners
manual (page.73) in this page it is clearly stated that when
the EXP Pdl Hold is set ON The EXP Pedal Status is carried over.

SYSTEM MENU > PLAY OPTION

Preamp Mode     : System1
Patch ChgMode  : Smooth
Bank Chg Mode  : Wait
BankExtentMin   : U01
BankExtentMax  : P50
EXP Pdl Hold      : On
Pdl Indicate       : Off
Num Pdl Sw       : Off
Dial Func          : Pat&Val

I set my EXP Pedal for WAH function at all times,
again followed the instructions in the owners manual (page.47)

SYSTEM MENU > CONTROL

EXP 1 PEDAL SETTING

Preference  : System
Function     : WAH
Min            : 0
Max           : 100

EXP PEDAL SW SETTING

Preference  : System
Function     : Pedal FX
Min            : Of
Max           : On
Src Mode    : Toggle

In the MASTER/PDAL FX
MST PDL > PEDAL FX

tab1

EXP SW     : PDL FX
EXP 1        : WAH

tab2

TYPE             : 7StWAH
PEDAL MIN      : 0
PEDAL MAX     : 100
EFFECT LEVEL : 100

In the MASTER/PDAL FX
MST PDL> ASSIGN

TARGET     : PEDAL:WAH Type
SOURCE     : EXP PDL SW

What Did I miss?

Thanks in advance

Sir, you already set the Global System to Wah Function na.
See page 73 MEMO EXP Pedal Hold does not function if the Assign Source mode is set to Toggle (whereby the value is toggled between Min and Max each time the pedal is pressed).

SYSTEM MENU > CONTROL

EXP 1 PEDAL SETTING

Preference  : System
Function     : WAH
Min            : 0
Max           : 100

and the patch’s wah effect is given the value derived from the current pedal position (angle).
You no need to set it in the MASTER/PEDAL COZ its system/controller is in WAH effect already
MST/PDL > PEDAL FX
Assign will not function no more due to SYSTEM Global
