Hi guys. GT8 user here. Currently 4CM ang gusto kong set-up. I'm still trying to browse the manual so habang ginagawa ko yan, baka may makasagot na sa tanung ko dito sa forums.

CTL off : LOOP off and GT8 preamp on
CTL on : LOOP on and GT8 preamp off

Thanks!

I am not familiar with GT8 but what I have read, ang GT8 ay may button battery to keep your customize patches store in the memory kapag na exhaust na ang battery nawawala daw ang mga na-save mo ng patches.  And GT10 walang button battery to save the patches.  Once you save your patches sa GT10 it stays until you initialize it.  So no fear na mawawala ang saved patches mo.  Yun ang alam ko ang what I have read.   :-D

O sorry bro.  Meron ka nga palang GT8. hehehe.  No sa akin hindi bitin ang distortion it just a matter of tweaking a lot pagdating sa GT10 and with a good amplifier.  Me I am happy with GT10 with all the effects in it.  But you also need the DEC/Digital Enhance Cleaner.  Created by Rogeryu, this thread starter.  I have one at nagtutunog analog ang multifx nawawala ang fizz or digital sound.  I also added a BOSS GE7 sa loop ko.  Walang bitin ng Distortion sa akin with my rig set up.

I agree with the previous post na may paka kakaunti lang naman na bitin sa kagat yung GT-10 and yes with the right tweaking you can get good result...

Pag ginagamit ko GT-10 ko nilalagyan ko ng BadMonkey sa loop to add more bite sa dist ko at BBE Sonic Stomp before the amp...
Shut up! We know you can play!

Gusto kong bumili nang ganito, base on reviews mas masasayahan ako dito compare sa RP100 o HD500

And uhh... you mean RP1000, right?

If it were a GT-10 vs a POD X3L, medyo neck-and-neck pa and I would've picked the GT-10. Pero pag HD500 na ang pinag-uusapan... much better amp sims, M-class effects, better USB integration and software support... the GT-10 is at a serious disadvantage.

Standing on its own merits, there is no doubt that one can get a lot from the GT-10. I used one for more than a year with my old pedalboard locked in a case, during a time when half the users complained about the cocked wah sound and terrible amp sims. I got around all those and came up with the best guitar sounds I ever had at the time. But today, I really believe Line 6 has the upper hand.

Sorry, GT-10 fans... just trying to keep things in perspective.  8-)

It's a spike in the mids that's most prominent in the Marshall sims at high gain. I avoided it simply by not using them (EQ-ing also helped). It was a bit of a shame, but that was fine. Maganda naman yung iba, particularly the T-Amp sims.

If you don't think it's there, I won't argue. After closely following the exchanges at Boss GT Central, it's simply something that bothers some more so than others.

Oh I see.  That's why I don't hear and don't know what a cocked wah sound because I am not a marshall amp fan and not even a high gain guy.  I love fender amps and mesa boogies.

some people dont like the "cocked wah" sound while some would disagree and that includes me.. I used to have a wah pedal on my board and i literally sweep the wah pedal halfway just to get that nasal / cocked wah sound i was looking for when doing solos.. to me it just sounded musical.. well you can kill me now  :-D :-D :-D
