bro prototype version pa din me... and up to now ang akin is collection muna.... kapag nakahanap na ko ng regular job isa isahin ko na siya ayusin.... and for me plastic enclosures are VERY VERY light..... NOISE?? i already solved that.... theres a secret behind those plastics.... hehehehehehe.....

@kidkash

HUM!!! hehehehe ayun na naman..... hum.... kapag hindi metal enclosure right? pero yun nga lang ba? i mean can we do something to take it out without the aid of metal enclosures? na less gastos? i done it bro it works.... napagusapan na natin yun noon bro.... i tested it..... no hums on maximum gain and treble and volume.....

salamat.....

hello guys,

thanks kay sir wiccan8888  for links, saka kay sir pie-key for recomendations and advice.

saka

may mga tanong ulit ako.
-yung positive polarity sa design ay square and yung negative is circle, kapag walang ganun(kapag parehong circle), ibig sabihin kahit san ko ilagay yung caps and led?

First, welcome to DIY community bro! :-D

Regarding your questions,

Kapag parehong bilog, ibig sabihin dapat non-polarized device gagamitin mo.

Tama. Offboard wiring yan for any effect board that is intended to have a true bypass switching.

Wala ng on/off yan. All semiconductors are powered ALL THE TIME except the LED when in bypass mode. Input and output lang nag-aalternate dyan.

9VDC regulated power supply is mostly recommended. Always remember that the current supply of your PSU must always be greater than or equal the sum of all the current requirements of your pedals/ loopers in your board.

Hope it helps.

@wireless_system

hey man welcome to DIY. tulungan kita sa mga tanong mo.

yung positive polarity sa design ay square and yung negative is circle, kapag walang ganun(kapag parehong circle), ibig sabihin kahit san ko ilagay yung caps and led?

-no need, useless 'pag may on/off switch, tapos may bypass switch pa.. bypass switch is considered on/off of the pedal effect.

thanks guys,

question ko naman tungkol sa mga materials:
-anong voltage kaya kailangan sa mg caps? wattage sa resistor? source is 9V DC supply.
-anong klaseng cap?
-san nyo binibili yung case?
-anong pang etch na mura saka mabilis. we used ferric chloride before na liquid, medyo mahal. yung powder naman sobrang tagal matapos.

I'll try to finish it right after i complete my materials.

my answer:

1. for me i use capacitors that has a higher rating than the soure example 9Vdc ka so i use 25V caps sa electolytic caps.... sa non-polarized like mylars, ceramics and etc.... 50V lang ang pinaka known ko na mababa at maliit ang size.... avoid ceramic as much as possible...... kung ganito:

nano farad values use MYLAR or drops intead..... values like 0.1uF=104(yung marking) ask ka lang kapag hindi mo alam yung readings ok... other than is PICO farads value so dun ceramic lang meron... ok..... or kung maganda at mamahalin use silver mica.... meron sa epektos.... buy more para sa future projects..... highly recomended.... but since starter ka pa lang ok na ceramic.....

resistors are 1/4WATT (0.25W) rating.... pero kapag signal i use 1/8W(0.125W)..... carbon type is cheap and has all the values you need while the metal ones costs so much and does not  have everything.....

2. LM833 i forgot were i found that magic IC...... kung crunch box pwede na to:
JRC4558D
LM2904 or JRC2904D eto gamit ko...
TL072/82/62
NE5532 less noise / lesser gain onti lang

3PDT online ka brad or kaya kay sir WICCAN8888.... 250 swak ka na... pero ako improvise lang costs around 20php... pwede na... DPDT nga lang but true bypas naman.....

3. SHOPS..... i preffer you do this......
write down everything you need in a piece of index card..... pagsunud sunurin mo yung values from highest to lowes para hindi sila mahirapan..... sa ALEXAN.... i prefer their mylars kung starters.... then kapag talagang quality na edi source out ka na sa raon..... madaming hidden shops.....

4. about FeCl..... use mixed ones na..... mabilis yun brad.... technique is alug alugin... yes!!! vibrations makes the copper dusts disolves faster in acid trust me.... mga 15 min lang sa crunchbox mo... worth the wait naman eh... wag llang excited.... hehehehe they cost 20-25php...... and ako paunti onti lang gamit...... para yung matira sa iba naman..... hindi nilalahat yun ok....

hope its helped... good luck....

happy DIYing....

-anong voltage kaya kailangan sa mg caps? wattage sa resistor? source is 9V DC supply.
-higher voltage for capacitors, the better.. resistor = 1/4watt..

-anong klaseng cap?

-san nyo binibili yung case?

-anong pang etch na mura saka mabilis. we used ferric chloride before na liquid, medyo mahal. yung powder naman sobrang tagal matapos.
-gamit ko yung chunks, sa alexan at e-gizmo meron.. 8pesos lang sa e-gizmo.. technique sa etching, more ferric, lesser water, the better.. hot water gamitin mo.. ang ginagawa ko, sa ice-cream container, level of hot water is pantay lang sa PCB, ganun ka-onti yung tubig.. inuubos ko kalahating pakete ng ferric, ganun kadami ferric, alog-alog hanggang matapos, in 5mins ok na PCB.

Ferric Chloride base form bro.... as in powder siya na medyo nagbuo buo...... sa alexan 25php pang 1 liter na ata.... ng tubig..... but like paparoni said..... less water much more effective...... siguro 3/4 water pwede na..... but i stick to the mixed solution....

@wireless system....

ikaw ba yung friend ni HALF_EMPTY???? he told me that his friend is making DIY now...... good to know....

about sa wirring.... its best to have a multi tester bro....... check your connections first before soldering kung beginners mode ka... 9Vdc is enough and the current in Amperes, the more the better kapag nagkaron ka na nang madaming pedals malalaman mo...... cause every pedal you put into an adaptor kumakain ng current so kunyari 100mA per pedal.... sa 1A=1000mA may 10 pedals na pwedeng makinabang......
