Hi guys, plano ko bumalik sa pag gigitara. Pero, this time I want to up the ante. I wanna use my computer as an amp sim. I've had received noise complaints from neighbors before, even on my 10 watt SS amp. So, it's no option.

Here's what I have in mind. I'm torn between buying a dedicated DAW, or use a multi (zoom g3, g2.1nu... or suggest me one) as DAW. I have 10k budget. Anyone had similar experiences? Thanks a lot!

If you still have your pedalboard with you, I'll get the dedicated audio interface. Gives you more interface functions (great for choosing the kind of input you want, including micing stuff) than being a multi-fx unit with a bonus interface feature. You'd be using the amp sim on the computer anyway. If you get the G3, you can bypass the computer altogether if you like the onboard amp sims and just plug in some headphones.

I asked on the gadget forum regarding my headphone GAS, you were also the one that answered me. This is the second time you want me to take the more expensive path. HAHAHAHA!!!

Anyways, yeah great you reminded me about having a mic'd setup. So that's a plus for a dedicated one. But, I sild all my stomps way back before I quitted the last time. So, I think that's also a plus for a multifx.

ah kung ganun sa multifx na ako!

one of the reasons I got a G3X was because I got tired of making and tweaking sounds ITB ang hasel eh. And there aren't many free VSTs that actually sound good with guitar, especially the modulations. pag multi-fx ang maganda din global yung settings lalo na pag time based yung effect, so yung phaser, trem, tap delay, mod filter lahat sabay-sabay basta ilagay mo lang sa chain. and the sims aren't bad either, pwedeng plug and record na kaagad for quick demos

Last time I checked JB for glass slide isang size lang yung meron sila and napakalaki! Saan kaya may supply ng different sizes? Kahit ibang brands basta glass. Sayang may medicine bottle na ako nahanap dati, nabasag ko naman. amp. Time to learn slide to kill GAS. hehe

Sa sound essentials or casa musica may mga bottle slides. Got mine there. Big Heart ang brand. Makapal at may bigat, sarap gamitin kesa yung mga payat na glass slides.

Just bought one sa JB Music glorietta, Planet Waves lang yung small size eh. Payat problems. Perfect Pitch glorietta meron din, similar sa medium size ng planet waves, forgot the brand though.

Sound essentials ba yung malapit sa buffet 101 glorietta? Nagtanong ako doon out of stock daw. San yung casa musica? Ngayon ko lang nalaman yang shop na yan!

mga ser, ask ko lang, pwede bang temporarily tanggalin yung mga pole pieces ng humbucker pra malinis ko sya ng maigi at matanggal yung mga nabuong kalawang? kapag nililinis ko kasi sya ng steel wool nagagasgasan din yung bobbins e nawawala yung gloss... or may iba bang way pra successfully matanggal yung mga rusts sa pole pieces nang hindi na sya kailangan galawin or tanggalin??

Tried contacting drahcirna24 dati, hindi ko sya macontact, both pm and phone. I ended up ordering patches from sir Emil of PedalMax. I'm pretty satisfied.

FWIW, lava cable user ako hahaha pero his works are pretty good. noiseless and durable naman talaga. i switched to lava just because ang ganda nung deal na binigay sakin hahaha

Meron naba naka experience sainyo ng nasirang footswitch ng tc products?
Planning to buy polytune mini 2 kasi.

Currently turbo tuner st-200 gamit ko.

I've heard about this issue, pero ang alam kong affected nito ay yung mga toneprint products. Just don't "stomp" on it I guess since soft switch sya, ingat din ako sa alter ego ko e. Hindi kasi madali palitan yung footswitch kasi surface mount sya.

If tuner, I would go to Korg pitchblack, pretty sturdy.
