@Sonicassault

sir, most probably kung ash siya e the same process gagawin ko, stain then laquer
or stain and poly? hehehe pero im leaning on a golden yellow stain, i think that's the
closest color of stain to achieve yung hinahabol kong kulay hehehe

wag mo tanggalin yung finish nung fretboard kumakain ng libag yan  or i-refinish mo sya, wag lang bare. leave that to rosewood fretboards  :)

Looks like Sen Ash. If it's ash, I don't think there's a need to stain.

You'll probably get a darker/warmer color with oil. You should try it in an area under the pickguard and see if you like it.

Sir free2rock

I alreay tried the egg white wash, i really can't say if i did it right hehe
Applying it by brush them sand 400grit in between coats. Now im on the
Stage of 600 grit sanding ay almost ready for the finishing. Upon trying the
Egg wash, i realized that the natural color of the body will be more appealing
to me than the fender picture ive shown hehehe, and im leaning on finishing
It with poly because of the durability it gives compare to oil. Am i right on
this? Hehe, i bought a pint can of konig poly urethane semi-gloss to try it on a scrap of
wood. Question is, can apply it by rag? Or do i really have to use a brush?
I,m planning to use a rag so that i can apply it thin, then build up the finish
by applying 5-6 coats with sanding in between coats. Can you give some advice on this?

Salamat ng madami sa tulong ninyo!
Hopefully makapag upload ng picture hehehe

Salamat ulit!

Salamat ulit!

tntry ko yung pag tuyo apply ulit by rag,

salamat ulit sir!

in between rag applied coat. Yung sa brush applied definitely isand ko siya in between coats :)

trial assembly after ng 2 coats egg wash :

woooow ang ganda may knot!  :cute:  pano mo pala na-strip yung paint?

may paint, primer saka yung dating poly hehehe
