Who does IF here? Come mid March 1 year nako sa pag IF. Pero wala namang significant change sa weight ko. I only do 16:8. Paminsan minsan (pero madalang), ginagawa ko ung 20:4 Of course, pasablay sablay din ako sa oras. May nabawas din nman akong konting konting kilos pero hindi ko masasabing dahil sa IF , dahil may iba rin akong methods.
Share naman mga naka IF jan.

exactly sir. yun din nanotice ko. it just prevents me na mag gain ako so baka naimprove naman nya metabolism ko. Also, i can eat ng marami if gusto ko. though nagkocontrol din ako minsan sa rice.

yung first month lang mahirap sa no carb. pero after the adjustment period easy peasy lang. ang kagandahan pa ng 20:4 once masanay ka, sobra dami mo nang oras na libre. you'd be surprised how much time is wasted sa pag prepare ng pagkain, pagkain at pahugas ng kinainan. ngayon kasi ang sched ko 12:00PM first meal tapos ends at 4:00PM. after that next day na ulit.
pag gabi sobrang dami kong oras to do other stuff. pwede magensayo, pwede magbasa, etc.
IMHO, mas magkaka effect ang 16:8 pag dinner ang miniss mo. :) mas matindi mag metabolize ang katawan ng calories pag tulog hahaha :D

no workout. diet lang. I plan to ad workouts na rin soon para magfirm up.

Mas gwapo ka dati sir. Minsan nakakabawas ng pogi / ganda points pag pumayat e. Kaso , for health na rin kaya naten ginagawa.
Pano pag nagkakayayaan senyo magdinner after office? E til 4 ka lang. Like ung plan nyo sa march 2, pano pag dinner un? Hehe. Wha kain talaga?
Lunch out, dinner out wala pa problema sakin kc sakop pa ng time ko. Need lang agahan ung dinner talaga. Struggle minsan pag after tugz. Normally matatapos ng 10pm tas mgkakayayaan lumafang after, libre pa. Coffee and kain cla, ako nganga kc dna pwede. Or pag inabot ng midnight sa galaan, un ung masarap ikain e- midnyt snacks. Kaso magpipigil nalang. 12 to 8 ako e.

I've been on a diet, kamote,itlog,baby potatoes diet to be exact. Baligtad kasi araw ko, sa gabi ako gising dahil sa work. So I start my day at 7pm by a cup of rice tsaka ulam (kung ano man luto ni misis sa bahay). Magbabaon ako ng 1 medium sized nilagang kamote at 2 hard boiled eggs tapos baby potatoes on alternate days. I usually consume those at 12mn-1am. A cup of coffee before I start working then a cup of hot milo a couple of hours before I head home. Pag-uwi sa bahay, 2-3 piece pandesal o Gardenia then a cup of hot milk. Been doing this for more than a month na and so far nawala yung mala beer belly ko. Kaso, hindi na ako nakakapagwork out sa gym kaya nawala yung firmness though may "kaha" pa rin ako.
Health benefits so far are no more aching knees tsaka masarap na matulog sa araw. I used to sleep for just 3 to 4 hours pero ngayon, minimum na ang 6 hours.

16:8 sa intermittent fasting just means not eating anything ng 16hrs , then ang eating window time lang is ung remaining na 8 hrs of the day. Yung 20:4 na ginagawa ni sir ralph, 20 hrs syang hindi kakain. Then kakain lang sya within his 4 hr eating window time. Depende na sa preference ng tao kung pano nya issked basta ganon ung count ng oras per day.
Meron din 5:2. 5 days ka na you will eat normally within a week. Then 2 days kang nganga. Haha. Pipili ka ng any 2 days of the week na dka kakain. Pwede naman daw kumain pero low calories lang. - mga 500 to 600 cal lang per fast day

Kaw bahala sir magset ng time. Not necessarily lunch time ka magstart. It's up to u kung san ka magiging komportable. Pero sabi nga ni sir ralph mas effective daw kung ang makacut is dinner.
Pwede uminom ng water. In fact, recommended na uminom ka ng maraming tubig sa fast time mo.
Pwede ka rin mag black coffee without sugar if dmo na kaya ung gutom sa fast time. .... . Or tea w/o sugar. Other than that wala ng pwede.

+1. depends on the best time for you. ang mahalaga is masustain mo yung pattern para maximum benefits. +1 din sa black coffee, tea w/o sugar, or any zero calorie drink like coke zero.

sadly, dehinds ako makaka join s kanila. gustuhin ko man. need na namin mag lipat bahay kaya klangan matapos ko na yung lilipatan :cry:
pag may intense physical activities like takbo, susundutan ko ng light meal. pero pag normal weekday na office bahay lang, wala. andami mo malilibreng oras for other stuff pa when you get home kasi di ka na magiisip ng kung ano dinner mo/luto/hugas.

Oi pumunta ka dun kelangang kelangan ka dun. Gawan m ng paraan. :D
Wala namang madali sa una. Pero pag nasanay ka na, parang wala nalang. Sa una syempre start ka 16:8. After some months na masanay na, pwede na magtry sa 20:4. Or pwede itry ung 5:2 . Pag hindi kaya wag pilitin. Lalo na kung may ibang sakit. Hindi sya recommended. Or need muna iconsult kung pwede mag IF.
Sa ngaun nakakapanghina nalang pag nakikita ko ung mga kasama ko kumakain tas ako nganga. Lalo na pag kagagaling lang ng activity.. like tugs. Ang sarap kumain kaso dna pwede.

So ilang hrs ka wala kain nun? At kumusta ichura nung pintura?
Yung 16:8 kc dpa masyado ramdam e lalo na pag kasama naman sa sked and count ung sleeping tym. Ung 20:4 baka madugo na nga.

Pero dko naman talaga tinuruan. Nagtanong lang sya last week kung bkt sa dami ng pagkain datym, wala raw ako kinain. Sabi ko lang ganito ganyan oras ko. Wala naman ako inelaborate.

Pero dko naman talaga tinuruan. Nagtanong lang sya last week kung bkt sa dami ng pagkain datym, wala raw ako kinain. Sabi ko lang ganito ganyan oras ko. Wala naman ako inelaborate.

oo nga noh. dko naisip un. haha. nakontra ko sana agad ung inis nya :lol: eto 1 yr na ako naka IF. parang dko pa kaya mag 20:4. kaya ko paminsan minsan. pero kung araw araw....huhu.... sir ralph, pano mo ba to nagawa. tas grabe wala pang carbs. kung ako man mag 20:4, pagkakasyahin ko na sa 4 hours ung 3 meals to 5 meals ko which includes of course carbs.

never felt better in my life. after going no carb, hindi na ako tinatamaan ng sugar crash in the afternoon. yung parang antok na antok ka na ewan. mas alert ka din sa umaga at tanghali. none of that sluggish feeling.
pero nakakaimpress kasi nyan, no carb na naka 20:4 pa. sobrang maeffort
so ano ano lang sir normally ung mga kinakain mo ngayon? like ung routine mo na everday, nasa office ka , ano binibili mo?

ang carb kasi or sugars, will trick you into eating more. on a hormones standpoint kasi, sugar stimulates pleasure hormones so in a way nakakaaddict talaga siya. regardless if you're hungry or not, when you are addicted to something like sugar, you will take in sugar just to satiate the addiction.
when you get past the withdrawal phase of the sugar/carb addiction, that's when the diet will seem natural to you and hindi ka na feeling deprived. its going to be a second nature to you and marerealize mo kung gano ka mali yung kinakain mo dati.

believe me papsi, pag naglolook back ako, di pa rin ako makapaniwala na nagawa kong sundin to with utmost discipline. sobrang hindi ako disiplinado before when it comes to following a routine or practice habit.
sobrang double fulfillment na may results yung weight loss ko, at the same time na correct yung bad habits sa diet :)
don't get me wrong, nakita mo naman first hand, pag may gathering, pinagbibigyan ko naman sarili ko kung na earn ko yun hahaha 1 isol, 1 atay, 1 sate babi 1 garlic rice is hart hart HAHAHA

Nag IF ako two years ago. Since pang hapon ako...first meal around 3 or 4pm and last meal between 10pm-12mn. And sinabayan ko ng crossfit before my first meal.
I lost 20-25 pounds in 2 months pero i gained it back nung tinigil ko :-D

1kg = 2.2 pounds yung 4 kilos mo 8.8 pounds na agad yun. malaking difference.
tip sakin ng friend ko yun to monitor weight in pounds para daw mas nakikita ang numerical difference. mas nakakamotivate kasi pagnakikita mo yung bawas in the number.

Pag nakapaglibot sa grocery hehe hanapin ko yan. pero andami ko pa kasi stevia. sa coffee lang ako nagsweetener pag naisipan ko lagyan ng cocoa pero normally black lang tlga. Ung coffee jelly ko with stevia di rin ako nakaubos e hahahahaha, nanay at tatay ko

Hi bro! OT question: I'm planning to have dreadlocks. just a piece or two. Reason is, lagi ko nawawala pantali ko sa buhok at nakakainis na kasi yung binibili ko e mejo mahal kumpara sa nasa palengke kasi di sya nagccause ng buhol buhol at hair fall. I'm planning to have 1 or two pieces dreadlocks sa may batok para mag act as panali in case I need to tie my hair (during corporate meetings and all.) Magkano kaya?

13/11. Usually 5pm tigil ko para 6am pwede na kumain. No carbs though. Kung ma late dahil may party or inuman, adjust lang ng time pero stop na ulit ng 5pm para di magulo the following day.

Madalas 8am or 9am na ako nakakaain. Lalo na kapag weekdays at may pasok yung anak ko. Pero 5pm pa din stop ko basta walang ganap.

Beloved pips, i know #1 promoter ako ng IF dito. Pero stop muna naten to, and kung ano pa mga methods and diet nyo jan na you think is not too healthy. Stop fasting muna tayo and let's eat very healthy now. Need naten maging malakas para sa epidemyang kumakalat. Not saying IF is not healthy. Marami syang benefits. It's just that need naten constant and frequent intake ng nutrients this time.

- sanay kami magutom - we don't look at hunger on a negative note
kaya magkagutuman man ngayon, ok lang , sanay na sanay . of course not considering ung worry naten sa family naten. pero kung sa sarili lang at sa usapin ng kagutuman, kahit ilang araw pa yan, kayang kaya.

Hindi muna ako makakapag IF ng ilang araw dahil sobrang sakit ng chan ko and hindi nako nakakatayo sa sobrang sakit
Kaya ngayon, i eat anytime and may midnight snacks ako.

Yup pure black lang. No sugar. Pwede ka naman mag take nun sa fast mo para mejo nalilibang libang ka. Kaso hindi rin maganda na masanay tau masyado sa coffee baka mapadami lalo na kung mahaba ung fasting hrs. Better talaga water lang. Ako basically, puro distractions lang. Kung ano ano ginagawa ko para dko maisip kumain. And pag nakakaramdam nako ng gutom, mas natutuwa ako instead. Iniisip ko na gumagana na ung fasting, and nacoconsume na ung mga stored at naiiwang energies :D
Hindi naman ako omad. Nakakadalawang meal pako sa 20:4 , plus kung ano anong pwede makalkal sa kusina.

May inaapply ako ngayong bagong schedule for 20:4 para hindi ako masyadong mainip sa daytime. Instead na 4pm ako kakain, I start na ng 3pm. Then end nako ng 7pm.
Natatagalan ako sa 4pm kapag hindi ako masyadong busy. Keri lang sana yung gutom. Natetempt lang mapakain agad. 3pm is very very okay to start.

No rice, no carb, no sugar lang. Pero regular na ulam nakain na ako. Tinatanggal ko lang yan tatlo lalo na kapag ako nagluluto. Coconut oil na gamit namin sa bahay para pasok na din sa diet. Madalas maka-gain sa akin gata at sinigang mix. Mas ok pa san mig zero. Minsan nababawasan pa ako kapag yun ang iniinom ko kesa coke zero.

Recently, i had bad stomach cramps. Sabi nga nila, listen to ur body, so stopped IF for few days. Since lifestyle na nga pala to, hindi pwedeng d ako magreresume kasi dna rin ako sanay kumain nang wala sa window.
Nagsstop talaga ko sa IF pag may nararamdaman ako. Tas resume uli.

Nakakagawa ako netong mahabaang fasting time lately kapag may errands ako sa labas. Aalis ako sa bahay ng morning nang walang kain. Pag pwede na kumain sana , around 3 or 4 pm kinakapos nako sa time. Ending, tsaka nako nakakakain paguwi ko sa bahay, around 7 or 8pm. Sasakto sa 24th hr fast time ko. Mataas na tolerance ko sa gutom kaya kering keri. Kelangan lang inom palagi tubig, or else madedehydrate and sasakit ulo.

Ang tao, kaya parating gutom e dahil parati rin kain ng kain. Palaging triggered ang tummy. Kaya kung wala kang iniintake, hindi nattrigger ung tummy. This is my own observation kung baket doable ang long hour fasting. As long as hindi ka patikim tikim, manageable sya kahit 20 or 24 hours dahil walang trigger.
Pero pinaka importante, dun lang tayo sa kaya. Wag na paabutin sa point na sasakit na ang ulo. Always start small until kayanin na ang 36 hours :D
