Can't go wrong with D.allens. Another good winder but medyo mas mahal ng konti is Chris Klein: http://www.kleinpickups.com/c-2-stratocaster-pickups.aspx

yup they're called California 50's

pero if you want to go "boutique" i suggest you look up VAN ZANDTS or DALLENS para pasok sa 200$ mo. i chose the ssl-1's over the Van Zandt True Vintage (the ones i originally wanted) because i've tried the ssl-1's before and immediately fell in love with the tone. i thought that i'd rather buy something that i'm sure will satisfy me instead of "blind buying" boutiques. if i were you, try ka ng guitars with your pickup options.

*btw, the van zandt TV and V+ has an unbelievably stellar reputation.

GFS Mean 90 pickups are good if you're on a tight budget.  :-)

Mga sir, ask ko lng po kung anu ok na pickup  for a mahogany body guitar like my ibanez rga? as of now yung stock pickups plng ang gmit ko yung LZ, active un... Ang nsa isip ko base sa research at youtube sounds ay, sd jb and 59, sd custom 5 and jazz, or dimarzio air norton and tone zone. Any suggestions po mga sir? Ang music ko is groove metal, metal core, thrash metal, and blues. fave guitarist ko si willie adler ng lamb of god. Thank You Po!

i love tx specials! i have them in 1 of my strats. very versatile siya. naiiba siya sa ibang strat pups because of the rich mids. i had them once in another strat that was naturally mid-heavy. medyo overkill yung mid b ut great for lead playing. i moved them to a strat na not as mid-heavy (where it is now) and mas maganda ang tunog niya ngayon. parang nag balance out yung eq and it is still great for lead playing! if you're a lead player, panalo yung texas specials. i believe this is what it was made for. lumilitaw talaga sa mix yung solos.

sa clean tone, they're not as glassy as other vintage-style strat pups pero pasado naman basta ibaba mo lang yung mids sa amp. in my blues junior, ,y eq setting is as follows: mids - 9:00, bass - 10:00, treble - 2:00. then i just use the blues junior's fat mids button for different mid flavors.

hope this helps.
