I never actually met Doc Rick before,
nor exchanged words/pms with him.

but ever since then, i've been reading his gear posts which I really love and drooling over his sweet gear and stuff like that, but after hearing a sad story before that "he passed away" i did miss his gear reviews and very informative posts..

and now he's back!
YEAH!

I agree with vegetablejoe
"Yes, ok lets all put things behind us, get past the issue, and move forward."

im very glad to know that Doc Rick is back and well!

he (Yona) indeed sent his apologies to us naman eh.. at least nagmatapang siya
easy easy lng guys.

Doc,
I'll be sending prayers for you and your family especially for your son Josh.

Doc Rick, if that's really you, welcome back... to the "world of the living" and the forum!  If it's not you, fuggedabout what I just said.

Actually, I don't get why you should be embarrassed about anything; it's not your fault and it's not like we are in a position to judge anyone or their family.

Also, that guitar trade deal should never go down.  If it has -- the other party should "undo" the trade.  I hope the other guy does the right thing.

If you've met him in person, his presence is quite addicting. Just looking at his Green Beret in a glass case made me think of a "coulda been" life that I didn't get to experience.

Too bad the earliest we can visit is in June. Better later than never. So we can see him "in the flesh" (hehehe pun intended)

been here well before his son james announced his death January last year.

i'd be happy to be proven wrong. i also like doc back in the forums, i liked his posts and stories and detailed gear reviews. let us see...

Oh jeesh. This shocked me big time. I hope the truth reveals itself. I still am not convinced. The recent doc posts do not sound like him. he always sounded pleasant IMO. Nevermind. That's just me.

Anyway, if its true, it is REALLY nice to know he is still alive! I wish him more years ahead and great health.

If not, oh well...

I do... Este, I second the motion.

It's extremely confusing though...  :?

It's him.  :-)

I just got off YM with Doc Rick. He didn't get his webcam going so we went into a challenge-response thing and I asked him certain things that only him, me and the friends with me on the visit would know.

He answered my questions correctly. It's him.

My doubts are allayed. Welcome back Doc Rick !

Also sir, I don't think I sent you any email. Also, your tracer does not seem to be accurate because I am in Angeles City, not San Fernando.

IP tracers only give the locality of the ISP, not the user, FYI.

this is confusing.

but to hear the truth is liberating.
i genuinely felt sad when i heard the news of him passing away.

however embarrassing this whole ordeal may be, i'm glad that he's still here.

i've had a deal with ric before and it was good.. but i had a bad feeling on how his death was posted by his supposedly son at the same time he had a lot of guitars for sale.. this issue made me doubt his credibility even more.

this happened when the photobucket account of yona and doc were mentioned.. then an apology came up out of nowhere.. now this, i don't think is pure coincidence.. but in my opinion, i think yona (josh), james and rick are one and the same, with rick behind it all.

he's been alive all along. i don't think there was a reason to be out of the forum that long and be that active once someone found a loophole.. we'll unless another excuse is being cooked up as we speak.

whatever the reason is behind the fake death and the multiple personality excuse crap.. to me this plain sucks.

i'm with arkeetar and bryan on this one.
