Dunlop tortex. The violet one. Perfect for heavy string guages

Jim Dunlop Jazz III's na hindi gawa sa crappy na plastic nowadays. Since nagiging bihira na yun, gumagamit na rin ako ng mga Jim Dunlop Eric Johnson Jazz III.

Anything that is 1mm up ginagamit ko, mapa tortex pa yan o yung nabibili na tig lilimang piso sa mga low end music stores.
But I have
1. Tortex ultra sharp black pick 1.5mm
2. Ultex 1.14mm
3. Ibanez Steve Vai
4. Alice 1.5mm
5. Tortex 1.14

And my favorite :

ive been using Jazz III for two years, but now i use Eric johnson Jazz.. it has more grip.. it produces much fatter tone.. matipid! kasi makunat siya hindi agad napupudpod, kapag yung mga regular picks ginagamit ko.. 1 week lang rounded na.. yung eric johnson or jazz III it can last for a couple of months sakin with everyday practice.. medyo may slight difference sa shape compared sa jazz III.. pag ginagamit ko ngayon yung jazz III hindi ako makatagal na yun ang gamit ko i always switch back to eric jhonson..  

sa acoustic guitar i use jim dunlop Match pick.. super lambot, you can easily fold it.. i use this for strumming, it produces much brighter and warmer tone, and more percussive sound.. not good for plucking or single note playing.. but it balance well with the volume when and shifts to finger picking..

I've used stainless steel picks exclusively for 6 years na. Pag bumabalik ako sa plastic picks namimiss ko yung attack eh. Never ko pa naman na-experience yung "pangingitim ng fingers" hehe

pag gusto ko lang magexercise ng picking i use dunlop 1mm

but ang gamit ko talaga is .7's-.8's..smooth na smooth para sa akin

pero last weekend i bought a .6..just trying it out,well it also works for me..

PG uses tortex .6 also
