o kaya, madyo i-loosen niyo or i-relax niyo yung grip niyo sa stick.

Effective yun.

Wahaha talaga? di ko pa na try.. Pano ba nagiging malakas yung vibration? Nasa kahoy ba yun?? Na try mo na yung Anti-Vibe bro?

di ko pa na try.
nakakapanghinayang eh ang mahal....
pwede pahiram nyan?

Syempre ung mga vic firth at vater, etc... ung mga magaganda pero pound for pound ano pinaka ok? ung mahal nga pero x3 sa buhay ng ordinary sticks? or mga fernando sticks sobrang mura pero sira kaagad? syempre itake in consideration pa natin ung feel ng sticks...

parang mathematical question to sa mga matagal na pumapalo at nakasubok na ng maraming sticks... main point anong best overall stick? for its price, feel, durability,... etc..

Wala lang just wondering on what u guys have to say... :) drummers rule!!

Different strokes for different folks...  It's subjective; it depends on each drummer's personal taste and preferences...

For me, Pro-Mark's Shira Kashi Oak drumsticks work best.

I really like Pro-Mark sticks, 5A. Among all I've played over the years, these last longer than Vic Firths or Z's. It is all subjective. How big you are...how hard you hit...where you hit...

Sobrang sulit!

Tapos nasiyahan ako kasi naging kahawig niya yung Zildjian Taylor Hawkins signature. Ye.

I always rim-shot and my Pro Marks stand up to it. Hindi sya nagmumukhang "kendo" fighting stick kaagad, unlike my Vic Firths dati. Yung Zildjian's naman, di naman nag wawatak sa body kaagad, pero they snap in half after a bit of hard playing.

Well my favorites are Pro Mark (that Japanese Oak thing) and Vic Firth American classic. I prefer 7As. I used 5As in the past but I think I play with more finesse with 7As. Pro Marks are much nicer though - the oak is light yet sturdy.

I have a batch of cheap generic sticks from a visit to a Guitar Center a year ago (looks like I havent played much in the past year) but these were horrible!

Don't get me started about Zildjian sticks. Yeccch.

Eto sakin.

Kung sa tibay w/o considering the price eto:
1. Promark
2. Regal Tip
3. Zildjian
4. Vic Firth

Sa Value wise eto naman:
1. Lazer 8A
2. La Special
3. Nova
4. Sound Percussion

Pero ngayon Fernando Sticks na gamit ko. Kasi 70 pesos lang and it last mga 3 to 4 sets a pair kasi medium hitter lang ako.

lazer. hands down.

Bumili ako ng Lazer 8A out of necessity tuloy.

I have a pair of Ahead aluminum alloy drumsticks.  But one of my Ahead sticks suffered from a broken core (yes, the core!).  This happened about 3 or 4 years ago.  I was using it one time, then out of nowhere, its feel became different.  It felt frail.  When I removed the cover, there I discovered the broken core.  It cracked and broke into two.  It's still a mystery to me; how could my Ahead stick broke?  I'm not a hard and heavy hitter.  Factory defect?  I still kept it.  I'll take a picture of it one of these days...
