I've been using Pro-Mark drumsticks for years. I like their oak drumsticks. Comparing to hickory, oak is more dense. So, oak is stronger and more durable; it lasts longer. A pair of Pro-Mark oak sticks can last with me for at least 6 weeks of regular drumming, gigging and rehearsals.

I've tried various brands of sticks, and Pro-Mark sticks are the only sticks that I feel so confident with, I don't need to fully inspect the sticks whenever I purchase it. That's how much I trust their products. Their Millenium II manufacturing process sure does wonders, and I've become a firm believer in it. And I love the feel of Pro-Marks.

Currently, I favor their 808 Oak wood tip model. It has a barrel tip, and I find its weight and profile to be somewhere between a 5A and a 5B. When the 808s are not in stock, my alternative would be the Oak 727 model or the Oak 747 Neil Peart Signature sticks. I've also tried the 420 Mike Portnoy Signature hickory stick, and it felt great too!

Thanks.

I get my Pro-Mark sticks at Audiophile.

o kaya, madyo i-loosen niyo or i-relax niyo yung grip niyo sa stick.
