what tones are you after?

Fame built on fuzz:

Hendrix - classic fuzz tones - fuzz face, mxr classic fuzz, vox tone bender, D*A*M pedals.

The Smashing Pumpkins - over the top really high gain fuzz tones - silicon and germanium based. i.e. Death by Audio, Devi Ever pedals

I don't know if it's the best (I am not into fuzzes) but check out the Wampler Triple Wreck. It has a fuzz mode which per Brian Wampler, the pedal maker, can do David Gilmour-type of fuzz (I don't know him either). Just check it out!

i'm wondering if any of our local builds have anything that sounds close to the oxfuzz?

my band has been playing postrock/stoner/noise for around 4 years, i've been through a couple of fuzz pedals and i loved the fuzzface clone i got from the classifieds, pero minsan parang kulang. the fuzz i get is really thick, but minsan the high freqs don't do it for me. the oxfuzz offers such a great balance without losing power.

hey there, do you listen to MUSE or RATM? They love to use fuzz. But the problem is, i cant find a cheap z.vex fuzz... huhuhuhu!! gudluck finding one here!! I've been searching for the last 2 years for it if somebody would give up their z.vex fuzz for 2.5k but i think im just dreaming.
